Same as go west... why west?

Why not go east ?

Maybe Ipswich should go east and look in a right field for a new signing...

Because it relates to the opening up of unexplored continental America in 19th century. Going east would land you in the Atlatic ocean. Going west would make you an early settler in what is now the Western United States. An earlier derrivation equates dieing with the setting of the sun and of course the sun sets in the west.

While left field probably owes it's origins to baseball, it is hard to see what distinguishes left from right.

Dudek 3.00

Lambert 2.00

Still saying no because its 20 points under? Teams are built on potential for the season ahead, not last year's average!

I wouldn't want Simon Lambert in the team

Could we be seeing the return of the beast from the east

That would be massive,,, the blast felt around British speedway would be huge,,, we would need to hide behind iron curtains.

I'm so excited,,, I need to chill out,,, maybe listen to some music,,, maybe something from the Beatles.

Emil ?

Britain is far too woke to allow Russian Sportsmen & Women to compete in Sporting events in the UK.

It would be good to see him back over here one day though.

People will be less gutted with Heeps Barker  and Covatti if we get some rumours going,,, build em up, knock em down.

Ooo Covatti,, there is a name that hasn't been mentioned yet.
