The wheels are in motion Mark Phillips and Gary May will put together a good team I'm sure :t:

Hope that's the case Lewy. I've developed quite a soft spot for both Plymouth and Berwick in the Championship. I've watched maybe three or four streams from Plymouth this year and always watch out for their results as well.

Good luck for next year!

Until he races a "few" meetings before he gets injured on a, still, inflated average & the guest situation rears its ugly head, again. This rule needs addressing at the AGM.

'Few' ? you mean a couple of laps :D

Nicholls would be excellent at Plymouth an artist on the small track.

He may or may not be but he would be relatively cheap for a rider as he lives in Plymouth and He knows the track. Gary may often builds his team with a 2 point rider. He may change this year but just going on history.

As a Lakeside fan, I would like to comment on Ben Morley, no, he will never be a solid 2nd division second string, he’s a good reserve and on his day can score quite well, the Hammers did have success with him as a number two at home, but that was with a big home advantage, away from home it was always a struggle,  but you know what you will get.

Alfie Bowtell on the other hand, who knows how far he can go, he’s a swashbuckling rider that never gives up, I imagine he is just as popular at Plymouth if not more so as he was at Lakeside.

Alfie is very popular, but Ben won rider of the year tough choices ahead of who to keep next season.

Personally would love to see something like...

1. Scott Nicholls/Richie Worrall... Pretty much the same average but I'd prefer Nicholls on a track like Plymouth tbh

2. Ben Barker (If allowed)

3. Michael Palm Toft

4. Dan Gilkes

5. Hans Andersen

6. Alfie Bowtell

7. 2.00er (Trigger? Kinsley? Coles? etc...)

This is based on a 39 point limit with rising stars or a 41 point limit without

It was included in the Plymouth v Glasgow match report on the Gladiolas website.

Good start then, if they can get their 3 big riders from last year back and tempt gilkes and bowtell also, they're a brilliant team
