If that’s the case , why don’t the club announce the team? Surely it’s better to get the fans interested as soon as possible.

On the other hand once the team is announced the club will have little to say until the fixture list is released- it’s a difficult one name the 6 riders in one hit and interest slides over the winter or drag it releasing names every few weeks and keep people taking about the sport either way it’s a long time to the opening meeting .
As much as any team announcements admission prices will be crucial I see Sheffield is going to be £22 plus £3 for program-price things too high it drive more fans away - Gas Electric and Food will come way before a night at. the speedway in 2023

Its on them to keep the fans interested, just look at what Glasgow do compared to Kings Lynn. Do some giveaways, some interviews with riders, look at the history of each rider, some stats on how each rider goes at Lynn there are a lot of options for things they can do during the off season.

I'm sure this argument pops up every winter on the forum, some want to know the team immediately while others enjoy the anticipation. You can't please everyone.

As for prices, I'd like to think they won't stick any more than a pound on, two quid will put folk off and make them pick and choose even more. Or stop them buying food  drink and programmes, which I suspect will all go up too. Probably the best way to get people there every week is to provide good racing and a winning team....over to you Mr Brady.

Not everyone has an owner where they are able to put a Marketing Manager on their books and let them work on the clubs marketing as Glasgow have done in the past.

Doesn’t need a marketing manager to pen a weekly article about something or other……use some journalistic license to invent some potential stories… sure the Kings Lynn echo would be happy to print some “scandal” to attract readers interest.

Does anyone get a job on merit these days? You either have to be a mate or tick the right diversity box..

Glasgow have some rich, tech savvy owners but yeah they can all do more!
