Yeah and when you read about how successful and fun amateur meetings are at the likes of Scunny, Redcar and Iwade you have to wonder if the Barum has turned the full circle.

Well when some promoter are insisting NDL riders must have two bikes then the money must be better than its made out to be.

Find lowering the points limit quite strange,if it was for financial reasons why just not set cap on riders Points Money, they seem to think limiting a signing on fee will solve problems so do the same with the points money( we know none of this will be adhered to anyway).Diluting the standard and expecting fans to pay the same or more Admission is not going to be the answer.Intersting what Admission prices will be at certain track this season.

There is a cap this year no club can pay more than £90 a point

That will works brilliant in theory but in practice a "local sponsor" will pay the difference demanded!

Glasgow’s running costs were six figures in the negative in 2019, and I don’t see anything to indicate they’ve improved. Crowds certainly aren’t up. So I don’t think I’d be worrying too much about any possible notional rent to the profitable company that keeps the club going. For all the transformation of the facilities, and the success of running FIM events, I don’t think it’s turned into anything like a break even venture.

I’m sure they’re trying to change that, of course. But it’s a big gap.

Like what.

Don’t implicate yourself on any reply and be sure to mention the following.

However I would not endorse any practice that may impact the integrity of the sport.

And also I emphasise that Edinburgh would not partake in any underhanded payments to there riders.
