List of Speedway promoters past & present.

Recommended Posts

Don’t know whether a thread has covered for this in the past, but  hey ho here we go.
With a little help from all of you out there, I would like to compile a list of promotors  and their club who have graced us in the past & present bringing us chance to watch our great sport.

I will start with Maury Littlechild  Crewe Kings 1969.

Bob Dugard at Eastbourne (Mr.Eastbourne), Oxford and White City...we had the best of both worlds at Oxford and White City enjoying the advantages that the promotional tie up afforded us. We had "Mad" Malcolm Ballard, Gordon Kennett, John Davis, Richard Greer, Tevor Geer, Paul Gachet, Steve Weatherley, Dave Kennett, Mike Sampson, Roger Abel, Eric Dugard, Bobby McNeil , Brian Clark, Ian Clark and Roger Johns amongst others either ride full time or as cover for the "Rebels" over a seven year period.

Great days!

Me! With Mick, Colin and Ged…..

Lisa wasn’t a Promoter, just indispensable.

Keith Chapman is Club owner, not Promoter.

Carl Johnson, Colin Pratt and Richard Greer during the Chapman era

Trevor Swales with Ged 2015 - 2017

James Easter with Peter Oakes

...I'd throw in John Berry for what he achieved at Ipswich in a relatively short period.
