Glasgow Tigers v Berwick Bandits 14/04/23

Not as confident as I would've been about this meeting a few weeks ago but should still be relatively cosy for the stripes.

Forecast looks a bit dodgy though. Did I see Blair was in for stoneman?

Greg Blair does come in for Stoneman who faces a few weeks out.

Not so sure what all the fuss is about, its a comfortable home win.

Bit more confidence in the bandits camp, home side not had a meeting for couple weeks, potentially heavy track. I still remember Scunthorpe 2021!!!

Beating Edinburgh doesn't mean your any good.

Don't know what weather forecast your seeing but Norwegian Meteorological Institute have light rain tomorrow lunchtime then dry thereafter.

Berwick went with a slick track to counter Bomber 2 weeks ago, so don't think they'll like a heavy track .

Met office had showers this morning seems to be clearing up. Phone app has showers until 2 so yeah should be good to go.

I'm a glass half empty kind of guy, less meltdowns like may have happened after Poole last year that way lol

With the greatest respect to the Bandits, if we can't beat them at home then we don't deserve to be in the finals..

A "draw" will be enough for Glasgow to win the group, so I think they're pretty safe!

But what if Berwick then won the Super Heat?

Glasgow would win the group on points difference

Weather is awful. Early call off, surely. It's wet everywhere north/west of the city this morning, and doesn't look like changing.

Amazingly, they're saying the track is dry (no idea how - it's wet everywhere else!) With no more rain expected, so they are confident.

My track record on the weather is pretty bad tbf.

Not in Cowcaddens, which isn't a long way from Ashfield.
