It’s better than a normal race night on a school night.

That's good, good to know that the better riders may attract a few more people back or even newbies.

How come no Emil in heat 15 when he was by far Ipswich’s best rider?

Or Bewley. Would feel shortchanged had I been there.

4 more rides each than we would have seen them in last season,so maybe better value than last year:).I know what you are saying though.

Some cracking racing...

Track staff did a great job given the dry, slightly windy conditions..

Track had both an inside and outside line which allowed passing..

Not seen Doyle so down on power before, even when leading the Aces riders he was blocking them more than moving further away from them..

Lidsey, Rew, Kurtz, Bewley and Emil absolutely top class entertainment...

And Charles Wright did a "special" in Ht 14 to block pass Rew brilliantly..

Proper "hard riding" as Emil had done to Kurtz earlier..

One gripe is the No7's..

No disrespect but why are these lads riding in the top league? Can't be good for them..

They need ring fenced positions in Div 2 as they often dont bring much to the meetings other than racing against themselves..

Run in the topl flight with six man teams and share out the money not spent on the 7th roder on the six that do..

No other sport makes it compulsory to include "youth team" level competitors to go up against world class level opponents, so in such a technical, specialised sport as Speedway it makes it even more of a poor idea..

Norick once again continues to impress and is developing nicely, and Ben Barker rode his whatsits off as usual for minimal rewards..

You would certainly not feel £24 is too much to watch entertainment like this..

Roll on next week to watch Artem...

Heat 15 with four Aussies was good...

Mayne they should hold an Australian Championship round at the NSS as they all seem to fly around there...:D

In this case it's the clubs choosing to go with riders who might be out of their depth, can't blame the ruling when there are stronger, more experienced riders not being used!

There are also success stories like Brennan, Hume & Mountain having good seasons in 2022. But it shows how the promoter's need to be "forced" into including Brits, as one of the best "rising stars" Connor Mountain hasn't got a team spot this year.

Another advantage of the ruling is Jordan Jenkins improved form this year, without the RS rules he'd have been dropped for a 4.00 foreigner once Peterborough kept losing!

Good meeting tonight...Kurtz,Bewley and Lidsey superb...Kurtz is the most improved rider out there at the moment .

Doyle looked incredibly slow..he was working furiously on his bike and eventually rode a different one which was no faster

Sayfudinov was a joy to watch..Great to see that quality of rider in Britain

I actually thought Ben Barker and Keynan Rew rode very well for little reward but King was a big disappointment

Good meeting though
