Wright lifted a bit nothing intentional and Masters had no reason to confront Makes a change someone doing it to Wright though. Normally he is starting on other riders.

Rob B 1,266 Posted July 10, 2023 (edited) Belle Vue went for the bonus point and nearly ended up winning again. Bewley getting injured, and then Wright and Lidsey bike failures in 14 & 15 finished that off. Belle Vue shown they can do Wolves over 2 legs comfortably twice now. Lots of falls but rubbish racing, only 1 pass in the whole meeting after 2nd bend and that was heat 15. Zero outside line and even the ‘Karlsson corridor’ wasn’t working, just had to ride mid track and no one getting past. Edited July 10, 2023 by Rob B
Bagpuss 10,826 Posted July 10, 2023 What's Bewley done, or was it a precautionary withdrawal with a GP this weekend?

And yes Belle Vue are very much in for the title. If Lidsey can score like that at a small track they have all bases covered.

Hopefully precautionary, but he took a hell of a fall with Cook.Bewley landed heavily on his back and Cook straight into the fence.I would think both riders will feel second hand today, but at least they both got up from the incident last night. And if only the horse hadn't stopped to do a s##t he'd have won the race, and if only had Becker been fit it would have been more that 1 point from his rides. The Becker point is a good one but you can't deny that BV had the majority of the bad luck and probably would have won but for those bits of misfortune. Don't think I've ever seen anyone pass on the outside coming off bend 2, the way Schlein took Brennan - Brennan must have though he'd got the K-corridor sussed, and would never have expected that to happen.
