Sheffield v Wolves 24/07

The BSPL need to appoint a CEO to sort this sort of shambles out. Their sporting integrity is seriously at risk. I heard someone was lined up but he's working in Poland this week as he has a new hosepipe to try out! B)

I do truly hope that a press release goes out stating that a meeting taking place with 13 riders, and FVE of them guests, was....

"In the interests of Speedway"....:D

Is this correct? Sheffield have to use rider replacement for Ellis, who is trying to help his country become World champions, but Wolverhampton can use three guests, because their riders wish to sit on the beach?.

They have no facility for Douglas or Worrall as they are the ones on holiday. That is why the guests for those two are of a lower standard.

Sheffield could have a guest for Ellis, but as they chose to have a guest for Kerr instead they couldn't for Ellis.Sheffields choice, obviously feel Sedgemen will do a job for Kerr.

???

Surely they are guests that are of "a lower standard" only due to not having any other options?

There will be as many Lions as Wolves riders at the meeting even though Leicester aren’t involved! ……..Only in British Speedway! (as we say….at least every week…. for the last decade or more). It really is like picking footy teams at lunchtime in the school playground.

Eurosport have amended their EPG, and only previous speedway highlights on.

If Sheffield are adamant that tomorrow is the only free date they have available it will be a bugger for them if it's rained off.

Having no facility means you have to have riders under a certain average to guest.

Those guests cannot have an average more than three-quarters that of the riders they are replacing.

Edited for clarity.
