As Holder said himself, you've got to ride it hard. Seems his nads ain't big enough, same as when he was riding for the Stars..

Ride it hard then! Simples! Can’t understand why he’s come back to uk racing if he’s just gonna moan about the uk tracks

Good job Hawkins knew his stuff and kept hold of King, where probably 80% of the Ipswich fans wanted rid:D.He's won it for them.

Credit to King, he's really raised his game - at the start of the season it's what he said he could do, but only showed it in randomly.  However, for these two matches he's made a big difference.

Maybe the Ward thing hit Holder more than some thought. It was Poole against him tonight, i think he would of jacked. Same as he did at Lynn

Chris hasn’t been the same rider since darcy’s injury no doubt and can’t blame him to be deeply affected either really given how close they are, he’s had his fair share of pretty frightening crashes and subsequent injuries too tbf

Top up the retirement fund with some easier money compared to the competition he'd face in Poland/Sweden, They all come back to the league when their careers are coming to an end.

Fricke a very decent replacement for Woffy - certainly any perceived weakening there is more than offset by Vissing being missing

Too close to call overall - could come down to which side gets that little bit of extra luck at a crucial time

If ever Erik and Keynan wanted an opportunity to repay the loyalty and faith shown in them these next few weeks are it......

Installment 1 successfully paid in. Good job fellas :t:

Now about Monday night!!

A more successful era for the Witches - pairs last season and the cup this season -  and maybe playoff final but let’s not get giddy!!

one could say that they are being rewarded for sticking and not twisting who knows but I plan to be there Monday!

Holder hasnt been the same since he had that massive crash not long after he won the world title - was well before Wards crash.

Well done Ipswich......but, Holder was spot on with his summing up of the track and the racing.

Interesting that on Monday, Musielak said he liked the slick starts at Sheffield.  Tonight, the starting gate at Foxhall couldn't have been more different - after 15 heats it was still damp and even felt "soft".

Holder obviously psyched himself out - he looked ordinary. Howarth and Pickering were also poor, especially when you consider they are both very capable of riding smaller tracks. Pickering didn't even look like he could turn with confidence until his last ride.

I don’t understand the pile on to Chris Holder. He was signed on just over 7 and averaged 7.5 over the two legs.
If fingers need to be pointed they should be pointed on whoever was making team change decisions at Sheffield. I sudiect someone thought it was smart to bring Tai in when waiting for Jack to return would have made sense.
A bit like the gut reaction changes at Leicester…..

Anyway, well done Ipswich who seem to be hitting form at exactly the right time

And on the old narrow track too

It wasn’t Cookie, 2010 was the first season after the widening during that winter. It’s had another couple of minor alterations since then but nothing as drastic as the original work done that winter.

I can't recall Picko ever having a good meeting around Foxhall which is a surprise considering he's been a Monarchs rider for a few years now.
