Peterborough v Sheffield Mon 4th Sep

Weakening a partnership in the middle order for three heats just to have a stronger rider in one (harder) heat makes little sense.

As an entertainment spectacle for fans having a strong heat 13 is great but from a tactical point of view three points from any other heat counts just the same. The aim is to win the meeting, not just do well in an individual race.

My point is, Peterborough look favourites. So Sheffield's top riders need to beat Panthers best men as often as possible, so I'd want Holder & Musielak in heat 13.

I also don't feel Howarth / Pickering looks a weak middle order pairing.

It may not have worked, we'll never know!

I fully expect Artem to score pretty well tonight..I'll go something like Artem and Vadim 18 between them, Bomber NKI and Basso 20 ,reserves 12

50-40

Panthers would've won even if Sheffield had a full 1-7 tonight imo.

Panthers by Double figures imo.

Makes us even stronger imo.

Tarasenko, Basso and Cook x2 can take the R/R rides.

I'll stick with 50-40, but it screws my rider predictions:)

To all supporters not able to get to this meeting or watch it on BSN, live commentary is available on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, for those outside the broadcast area, you can pick this up on BBC Sounds. As an added bonus, I am the summariser on the radio broadcast tonight.
