The rumour on Facebook is Ipswich asked to use Lambert but we’re refused.

is there any truth in this?

Sheffield using Belle Vue lawyers then?

Or lawyer used couldn't get sorted quick enough for Ipswich ... but ok for next team asking?.

Bit like the King's Lynn pit gate... just couldn't be done in time

It doesn't matter now as Tai cannot ride, can't see Sheffield winning this now, they have been unlucky with injuries, I doubt Lambert with do particularly well at Monmore.

Lambert is fine at Monmore, he's talented, unlike, ahem, some throttle bashers from up the M6.:o

Last time he came to Monmore he was excluded for missing the 2 minutes and then pulled a wheelie through the tapes, never liked him since.

His previous MA was 7.61. That is now not applicable and he is using the 7.81 that the powers that be clearly state is an assessed average.

He had an established average, he no longer does as he is operating under his 7.81 assessed average as given to him by the powers that be.

No assessed rider has guested before and I’ve already provided details of when a rider was stopped from guesting “because of the assessed average”.

It's no good complaining on here, you need to e-mail the BSPA/L Office.  I've always received a reply.

Can't imagine Monmore is a favourite track of Lambert's or play off Lambert as he is now known!

Woffinden was never going to ride tomorrow anyway, that was absolutely clear from his TV interview before today's meeting.

Agreed. Seems like he was more or less forced to ride today. All in the name of £££.

Nothing against the posters but when ever i read "Rule 1.9.004 guest assessed average under 4.9988 if in a KOC cup meeting but not a League meeting......"

I scroll past.

To be honest, I think that’s the feeling of most of the current fans that we have left now and the promoters also. The sport has less credibility than WWF or monster trucks and has become a bank holiday treat rather than a regularly attended event resulting in crowds no longer at a sustainable level. It’s a great shame for many clubs and fans, but it is what it is and it’s not going to change, I’ll continue to enjoy the racing at the National Speedway Stadium at whatever level it is, but I do feel for those who no longer have a team in this once great sport to follow.

Lamberts last scores at Monmore from 2019  riding for Kings Lynn were 5+1 and 4 . Belle Vues last two visits the scores were 46.44 and 47.43 so stop talking through your bottom and do some research before you post.:o

Yes but look at the crowds that WWE and Monstar Trucks attract.  WWE is on several times a week too!;)

Lambert was constantly carrying an injury or other in 2019 hence his modest current average, in 2018 he scored paid 14 and paid 15 at Wolves so he can get round there fine. However four years away from such a specialist track is a long time, don't necessarily see him scoring big there tonight.
