Way to make it more difficult for the youth of Europe to get a spot over here but whatever... Hardly surprising with the nobs who run the sport

If it helps Brits get team places, I have no issue with that. If they are good, they'll reach their 5.00 assessed averages, if they are not so good, why sign them over Brits in the first place?

Rock solid as usual. The only weakness is at reserve, where we have two youngsters who could find the going very tough at first. But Sam Hagon has shown a liking for the Poole track and has done ok here. Max is an unknown quantity at the moment but reports show a young lad with trackcraft and one that could well be going places.

Lawson will be solid as usual, the Cooks will continue to improve. Brennan is hot and cold but does know the fastest way around Poole and just needs to become more consistent. That could well happen under Middlo. As for Tate Zischke (god knows how you pronounce that!) he will need time to adjust and get used to British tracks, so expect hot and very cold meetings.

Of course this lineup is nothing official and the team could be completely different. Guess we will have to wait and see.

Good to read in Danny's 'end of season'  comments that attendances were up again! Obvious to see for those at every home meeting, but somehow not believed by others!:t:

Personally I would have liked to see Rew ride for us, even on a 6 he could be a bargain in this league.

Wednesdays in Denmark!

Max Perry just going by his attendance at Poole for the last few meetings looks nailed on.

From what i saw of Zischke at SoN2 in Latvia he'll need to calm down a bit or could have the issues that Killeen had with random falls

Taken from Darcy Ward interview in Speedway Star 2 years ago.

One name to look out for (and learn how to spell) is Tate Zischke who has just turned 16 and shows a great deal of promise. The Poole promotion has already been tipped off about his potential and if all things continue to go to plan, he could be sighted there in 2022 or at the latest 2023. (Injury put paid to that)

A farmer’s son from the village of Grandchester, west of Brisbane, Zischke is sponsored by Ivor Harm, who looked after Darcy from his junior days and remains heavily involved, especially with emerging talent.

‘He just reminds me of me at the same age,” says Darcy. Watch this space….
