Brummies 2024...

Recommended Posts

Zmarzlik will be happy that he's not riding for Brum in the top flight this time around.

He'd get annoyed at Sam very quickly for calling him Bartash Smashlik on a regular basis.

Birmingham did something similar to that a couple of years ago with Coventry and Cradley fans and by all accounts it did not go down well with their own fans, who questioned why they had to pay more while other clubs fans had a discount.

Understandable that they want more fans in, but you don't want to get the regular ones backs up in the process.

If they dont significantly increase their crowds, there wont be any regulars to moan about it...

No photographic proof on this years season ticket at wolves as was just a book of 15 tickets only the stubbs left.

Then the book and stubs are ok!

Getting Wolves/Cradley fans in has got to be worth at least a look at for Brum I would say given the collective crowds Wolves and Cradely could attract at Monmore..

History suggests they cannot hope to have enough of their own fans, sadly, to maintain a Div 1 team..

Would it be worth looking in to providing 'free' transport (bus) from Monmore to Perry Barr on match days?

Obviously, if there was enough interest?

Might be worth a go ...Surely they can attract 1000 each week with the right team...

The questions are 1. is there 1000+ interested fans within the Brum catchment area?  2. Would 'the right team' be affordable on 1000 fans a week?  Its great saying we have doubled our attendance but if the cost of running the side has tripled Brum are no better off.

True...Local fans are the key...

All this chatter about free buses,  oh the traffic is bad, where do you park . I wonder if some actually want speedway in Birmingham or just to moan about it.

That's 2 full sized buses or coaches per 100 fans, and some say give them free admission too. Have you ever asked for a quote for coach and/or bus hire? That said, let's see what Parrys Coaches are made of and can offer ;)

And going back to the point about how the home fans would feel about it, well pretty aggrieved, I would suggest, if they are being asked to pay for the same buses to go to away meetings.

Whats the point of getting wolves fans in for free? I thought the whole idea getting more fans in was to MAKE MORE MONEY.

I guess that Paweł Przedpełski would be out of the question then?  I'd hate to think how that poor guy's name would get mangled up out of all recognition.

Does Magic get a reduction from his 8.97 average from 8 years ago?

Can see Brum ending up a right mess , a half arsed Zagar riding to top up his pension stinks of a disaster waiting to happen.
