No, that’s incorrect

Ryan Douglas likely to be at Leicester for starters.

Sam Masters would, I should think, double up with Oxford Spires in the Premiership and Oxford Cheetahs in the Championship.

Well 3 of the 2023 Wolves have already been signed so if you take out the rising star that's already half your team mate.

Not much in it really both Pawlicki brothers are better than Musielak on the continent, Musielak has spent an awful lot more time riding in GB than either Pawlicki.  Covatti may have made an OK engine room signing, his signing would be as disastrous as Schien at this point.

Why would Shamek Pawlicki be such a bad signing

Why the fixation about Shamek when his star is on a consistent wane in Poland? Just because he once rode for Coventry in the days when his star was rising, doesn't make it a good idea to sign him now. If you want to sign a young Polish rider who is on the upward part of his career curve, try Oskar Fajfer. For his first year in the Ekstraliga last year, that lad did well, and will only improve from here on in,

Why would Shamek Pawlicki be such a bad signing and Tobi Musielak is considered a fabulous signing for kings Lynn .

Pawlicki average 2.412 in Polish liga 2 (20 matches )

Musielak average 1.944 in Polish Liga 2 (18 matches )

Maybe there is more to it than I know . But just looking at the bare stats Shamek had a really good season last year ...

S.Pawlicki isnt good enough to be 1or 5.Poland is different to riding here...

@Pauldoveyspeedway if you (not just you, many are not rating Przemek) are saying racing in Poland is different to racing in GB (which it clearly is) you could use that as a reason to SUGGEST Przemysław Pawlicki won't be as good as Musielak over here, or that he won't be a guaranteed "number one" but that doesn't mean he WON'T / CAN'T be better than Musielak!

For example Sayfutdinov is better than Doyle in GB & Poland, Doyle is better than Holder in GB but not the GPs. Bewley is better than Fricke in the GPs

So Pawlicki could be better than Musielak over here, but could also not be!

All this worry before team is fully announced . Give them a chance . Also.  We don’t know how the poles will perform

. nobody rated Tarrasenko yet he turned out pretty good at Pererborough. Let’s wait and see . For the sake of the sport , Birmingham

need a competitive team

Anybody with an ounce of Polish speedway knowledge knew/knows how good Tarasenko is. Anybody who didn’t rate him was missing a trick as he is a quality speedway rider.

Consistent wane? Have a day off. Shamek has just had a fabulous season in Poland where he was almost unbeatable in the Polish second tier in the first half of the season, before injury but still ultimately leading ZG to the league title.

He had a great season in Sweden and performed well in individual comps too, only just missing out on the GPs for next year.

Would Shamek come in on his last Poole average of 6.75?

Looking at the 2024 confirmed thread, they have 22.59 left - if Shamek is 6.75 then Tarasenko 6.94 and Laguta 8.43 could fit with him.

Would be one of the strongest in the league but would cost a pretty penny.

Of course he is! New baby and no sleep in a week, I had to do the maths 5 times, didn't even think to check if he was elsewhere!

Ah yes, but Najjer, as you probably realise by now, some of the jokers on this forum think speedway ends at Dover !

Shamek was really good in 1. Liga this year.

Should either or both Pawlicki brothers end up in riding in the UK at any point this season, they will be fine. The unpalatable truth for some is that the British Leagues aren’t what they used to be. UK speedway itself is what’s on the wane.

Agree, and the idea that Vaculik, Kubera or Michelsen will ride here while still in the GP's is fantasy.
