Richard Lawson booked in to cover for Lewi Kerr.

Strengthens Berwick imo

While you`d never wish injury on any rider, an injury to your No1 at least gives the club options on guests, I have complete faith in the team manager to pick the right rider.

The same Lewis Kerr who beat Chris Harris not once, not twice but three times last week. Not many do that to Bomber (who IMO is one of the best to have ridden in Black & Gold) at Berwick. Lewi has very quickly endeared himself to Berwick fans.

Lawson way more consistent than Kerr. You don’t always know what you’re going to get with him compared to Lawson. Would agree it strengthens the bandits a touch.

That’s a bold statement for anyone who saw Kerr at Shielfield on Saturday.

Historically, I’d agree, but Kerr was frightening against Glasgow and in particular, against Harris.

How has Lawson started the season? The last I saw him, he sh*t the bed at Wimborne Road in the Championship final.

Met office says the same. Light rain for a couple of hours. Razor will still have Billy out by heat 9

Assuming the rain that’s due isn’t too bad then we should be all good for this evening.

Not the best of tracks for the majority of our side and Berwick have a very strong 7 at home this year. Anything within 10 point loss would be respectable.

Forecast now has no rain at all from now, which is good news.    For once, Bandits are getting their matches on, home and away - - and winning them!

Is the usually very good Bandits TV still with us or has it had technical difficulties ?
