the track is halfway between the villages of Brafield on the Green ( A428 Northampton to Bedford Rd) and Horton ,  so basically in the middle if nowhere 

I bet there would have been. Ipswich get that for run of the mill League meetings with nothing at stake. It’s a shame every club isn’t as well supported, the sport wouldn’t be in half the mess it currently is in this Country. Your GP Star was certainly wowed by the occasion! Scenes he’s never experienced at the wonderful NSS 😉 Every supporter of every club thinks it’s worth winning, until they have no chance of the play offs or get knocked out of them. Then it’s suddenly all worthless and not worth winning. We all know the drill. Even this years shambles is worth winning. The winners will have a title win etched on to their honours list. It won’t have an asterisk accompanying it.

A perfect storm, given the decades without a win, and the first leg result ... If Leicester had won the first leg 60-30, there wouldn't have been 2,000 there .. And 500 of them would have been from Leicester...😁  

The jubilant scenes from the 5k+ that attended the final, coupled with the celebrations from management, riders and staff, definitely proves it was worth winning 😉

A competition so worth winning, that one of last years' entrants have voluntarily pulled out to focus on winning the second tier.....
