The Northampton track has been prepared in 4 different ways so far, 1st meeting it was prepped, but had 2 hours practice on it, so not much we can do after, that. 2nd meeting we were asked to make it grippy,  we did and they didnt like it. Different again for the 3rd meeting, it was better!   4th meeting similar,  not bad. 5th meeting not enough water in early enough admittedly,  but could of been controlled.  Starts have been Different every meeting, on request,  It's all experimental,  to try and find the best possible track. It will happen,

Since the reopening Oxford have held home meetings on each day of the week.

Track prep, you are correct about a bowser braking down,  not an excuse, its the big one the stock cars own and use, a fitter came out at 7am on Monday morning,  couldn't fix it and was unable to get the parts.We had to fetch a second crop sprayer from kings lynn as a emergency.  Crop sprayer are great for getting an even water all over the track, but not so good for flooding first thing in the morning. Baring this all happened in the morning,  when we really needed to be getting on with the track. Issue will be hopefully resolved for the next meeting.  Stones! Yes not good at all !! Unfortunately they are all in the material that has been provided.  Have asked for the material to be screened,  or new material.  Only problem the riders had with the track was that it was a little deep coming off the bends, causing them to much grip, would of gone straight out after ht1, but ref called ht2 to the start line, so acted as soon as we were allowed.  Track grading after ht4, was also going to water, but were told not to.  Ht7 and ht11 we did do both, as we wanted to.
