Not much to say except that, once again, the Foxes only had 5 riders, but a different 5! Thomson should have had 6 rides but that's what you get with an inexperienced team manager, I suppose. Racing was apparently poor, crowd was apparently good. Hopefully the first improves before the second falls. I'll be there a week on Monday and just enjoy having something local for the rest of the season!

I know hindsight is 20/20 but Kemp should have been signed long before they even considered Cookie. No disrespect at all because it's obvious that Cook definitely still has what it takes, but his ability to just disappear when needed is just not good enough as a professional rider. I feel it's the end of his career now - not because he can't do it, but no promoter will risk it any more. A massive shame when you consider that not too long ago he was the 2nd best british rider we had. -
Expecting a close meeting tomorrow. Harris has never dominated at our spot, but i expect all the other riders will do well.

Most programme's contain little of relevance to the visitors other than team profile so an insert with team profile of new visitors on the back makes sense.

Etherington and Workington parted ways mutually. He knew he was no where near ready. Spencer is a better rider than Whalley, although Whalley may have a higher ceiling. Also, it isnt the same. Having a British Passport may make you British, but he's still and Aussie

I'd agree with the "rising star" system being used in the Champ, but don't think Spencer would qualify due to his age. Don't agree that they shouldn't be dropped, it's a sport & a business. Plus that brings in other issues, Workington not being allowed to drop Etherington who wants to be let go or a rider who turns 16 mid-season (Will Cairns) not getting signed as no "RS" is allowed to be dropped, meaning he has to ride in the top 6! It's no surprise Spencer has been dropped as he wasn't scoring well & has been given plenty of matches. There's no guarantee Whalley will do any better as the jump form NL to Champ is massive, but can't blame Plymouth for trying something new.
