Always best to wait for the official announcement of the dates, rather than making yourself look silly by ranting about something you have made up in your head. 😉

I understand what you say but my argument is that you push meeting to October and you’re asking for more issues in Britain, also, the difference from casual supporters turning up when the weather is bearable vs October freezing there arse off is night and day, this could impact the amount of people bothering to turn up and instead watching on TV in the warmth.

Revised details can now be confirmed for the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership play-offs following the postponement of Monday’s semi-final at Leicester. With the Lions’ opponents Sheffield electing to retain their regular home race night this week, the Tigers will stage what has become the first leg on Thursday September 18. The second leg of the semi-final will be at Leicester on Monday September 22, whilst Thursday September 25 will be held as a reserved date. The Grand Final will not start on this date. There is then a break for the FIM Speedway of Nations, with the Grand Final to take place on Monday October 6 (at Sheffield or Leicester) and Thursday October 9 (at Ipswich).

I do feel some people are going a bit overboard on the cancelations, especially in the PL. The season does not finish until the end of October, so there's still around 6 weeks to run 4 matches. The alternative is to finish up by the end of August... and people would be complaining about that. I think it's more imperative that clubs invest in track covers more than ever, with riders not wanting to ride at the slightest site of a wet track these days, track covers would certainly allow many of the fixtures to take place when there's been the 4 o'clock shower that leaves a track saturated and the sun is out at start time. The CL on the other hand, that does seem to be a bit more shambolic with all of their competitions still having a long way to run.
