Can someone explain to me how Ipswich got the rider rep facility for Lawson tonight as he was not injured or unwell? it seems he chose not to ride as he was prioritising the health snd wellbeing of his family ( no criticism from me on that score). i am assuming that it has been classified as withholding his services thus, the club get the faculty . If that is the case then does that mean Lawson now gets an automatic 28 day ban ? not trying to point score against either Lawson or Ipswich, just asking a question and seeking a clarification -
For 2027, and with more time to prepare I team I do expect to see a proper number one at least. Josh Pickering I believe will step up into the no.1 spot somewhere and I believe Bomber will end up ticking off another team to ride for especially with it being local to him. Without thinking of averages, I’d like to see something like: 1. Josh Pickering 2. Kye Thomson 3. Niels Kristian Iversen 4. Chris Harris 5. Maciej Janowski 6. William Cairns 7. Luke Harrison

To be fair the top division has always been a bit like that - in the great days of the 80s you had Cradley, Coventry Wolves in the midlands and then Reading Oxford and Swindon along the M4 etc so that was 6 of the what 12 teams in the top division. There was a northern band that comprised Bradford Sheffield and BV! and maybe an EA band that was Ipswich and Kings Lynn. The most northerly based top tier team I can recall was Berwick when Terry Lindon took them over and we all know what happened there. -

As a fan I've been to Foxhall 4 times now in 2026 and i have only seen 2 sides - my next visit is Aug 20th when It's Leicester which means I will still have only seen 2 sides! Due to holidays etc its likely to be my last visit for 2026! in any other sport I would have expected to see 5 different sides.
