As soon as riders stand around they go into non race mode and don’t fancy it. Seen it so many times. One or two can sway it for the majority.5 points

With everything that’s going on in the world and it’s been a while since I’ve seen any speedway I kind of forgot how much some modern riders are prima donnas where there is a bit of rain around3 points

Polish speedway is an embarrassment. The BSPA would have made an early decision.3 points

Neither will I Brummies_Ste. Had it been available on Freesports, BT Sport or Eurosport of which I subscribe too, then I might have watched some of it. However, I'm not desperate enough to want to watch speedway if means paying out more money to someone else.3 points

British riders are to happy with their comfort zone of riding two or three nights a week for a Premiership and Championship club, and making a very tidy living in doing so. Look how many British riders ride on a regular bases in the top leagues in Sweden and Poland, if you aren`t riding regularly at that level you cannot compete in the big meetings, SGP, SoN etc.2 points

You sound like one of the many CleverDicks who know exactly how to promote Speedway but have never had to guts to do it.2 points

To be fair, I do understand the reason for the displeasure. The track looked ok on first viewing but as I looked again you could see it was very, very grippy. Shamek was struggling a little and that was alone. Put 3 more riders in the mix and it becomes dangerous. Correct decision1 point

If a track in the NDL looked like that the riders would relish such conditions and just get on with it like they always do1 point

The decision on whether to rode should solely be the referees. You can't have riders making the rules.1 point

Polish tracks are a lot easier to ride, generally big and smooth so you can twist the throttle with no fear This is why Polish riders generally always struggled in the UK as they weren't used to the varying sizes and conditions. Just different skils/techniques.1 point

I have no explanation. It’s like a virus. It just plagues British riders on the continent. It’s weird because we don’t have this issue across other motorsports. Poland/Sweden/Denmark just produce top quality kids who seem to compete as soon as they are put in a situation where they have to. It’s a natural ability to just crack on which we don’t seem to have. Rob Lambert is the closest but still not good enough.1 point

Giving the cut throat nature of the Polish league I doubt the Wroclaw management will see it that way with a single point return. You can be sure there will be another squad rider ready and waiting to take his place.1 point

No the commentary is in Polish. Watching it via You Tube on TV and it is not bad at all1 point

He is 21 now isn't he? Not a veteran by any means but there are a good many riders Dan's age (and younger) who have been racing against (and beating) the world's best in the Polish League for several years.. And that is the standard he will be up against all his career as they all get older together... Many in this country see him as one of those 'rare talents' that come along none too frequently.. Riding strongly in the Polish top league should therefore be more than within his capabilty if he is to reach those dizzy long term heights that so many seem to see him attaining.. It definitely moved Max Fricke up several levels riding over there so it is 100% right that Dan gives it a go and sees where it takes him... A big ask though, and maybe expectations of the lad should be lowered somewhat and we just see if he can actually consistently compete at the very top level...1 point

Hampel seems to one of those riders who when he gets he wins but if he doesn't he couldn't pass wind. Still capable at this level though IMO.1 point

But you get 9 meetings minimum in that time unless they add more meetings from that date which I'm sure they will.. why wouldnt you do it and not cancel after 28 days and take advantage of the offer ??1 point

Just signed up on Premier Sports - sadly it seems I took too long and have missed out on the 3 months free offer as the deal seems to have expired. Have managed to get 1 month free using promo code SPEEDWAY2020 though. Looking forward to it!1 point

Hi folks just a quick message to let you know that Poole Pirates Team Manager Neil Middleditch has very kindly donated a piece of Pirate Treasure help Poole Town Football Club raise funds to keep the club going through this period of closure. You can place a bidding by visiting their website www.pooletownfc.co.uk or find info on their Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Or just Email a bid to info@pooletownfc.co.uk We’re all missing our speedway in Poole. At least the Polish meetings will give us something to watch for now. Good luck bidding!!1 point
