Ricky Ashworth didn't hit the fence he hit his head on the track, Zaine Kennedy went through the backstraight fence (No track has air or polyfoam fences down their straights). You really need to research before spouting crap on forum's7 points

the foam fence is of the same construction as berwicks which saved Luke from major injury last week so how can it be the fences fault. its how the rider hits the fence thats the issue not the fence.7 points

Don’t watch it then ? ,everyone knows you hate Scunthorpe with a passion and always breed negativity against the track , its promoter on the forum7 points

What a complete fool you are , speedway riders get inured daily on speedway tracks all over Europe .its the nature of the sport when 4 riders and machines come into contact during official meetings or practice for racing . The bikes now are faster then previous years, they race on a track with shale on it with usually 4 riders coming into the first bend with a limited space for the machines so there is always going to be crashes and injuries . I’ve watched racing at over 40 tracks in Britain over the years and the chances of serious injuries occurs at all of them .Your digs are always aimed at Scunthorpe or there promotion and is getting tedious I would like to wish Rory all the best in his recovery and hope to see him on a track soon as he has been a brilliant servant to British speedway and first watched him as a 16 year old at Sheffield.6 points

If he doesn't win tonight's meeting then I don't think he'll be in tbh. Lambert, Bewley and Brennan for me based on seasonal form and home track knowledge.4 points

I wish the producer would stop switching to helmet cam mid race, save it for post race replays. The angle doesn't help judge or watch the race at all.4 points

Sadly this will go down as my dad's last meeting (well over 1500 home meetings at Owlerton) as he passed away suddenly in the early hours of today. He first went as a 17 year old in 1960,the track record was about 72 seconds,he got to see Jack go round in 58.92 aged 81. He was still watching racing from Poland last evening on TV,first Jack's Polish team then when that got curtailed,we ended up watching big brother Chris and Tobi! It pleased him to see Kyle back on form,he liked riders like Kyle, the mainstay of league speedway riders down the years, but his absolute favorite rider was Jim Airey.4 points

Really enjoyed it, Good to see the young ones getting stuck in. Glad Tai didn't win it. Special mention goes to Anders Rowe.3 points

Glad Woffinden is being humbled. The sheer arrogance in his interview pre meeting to say he’ll be in the SON team. Dream on lad think your days are numbered.3 points

Yes. Can't say it was the most memorable meeting. Lebedevs a deserved winner though3 points

Great to see Dan get three on the bounce. Delighted that Tom B gets the wild card at Cardiff. great racing and lots of entertainment. Plaudits to Anders Rowe and Connor Mountain for producing a good performance in the British Final. The NSS IS A MARVELLOUS TRACK and should hold the British Final every year. You only have to listen to the riders when they applaud it as a great race track. Hyde road had the BLRCF every year and produced outstanding meetings …. often far superior to the one off World Finals Roll on the Speedway of Nations for another feast of entertainment and hopefully gold for GB. Hope that they now keep the final to a Saturday night so that there will be a greater attendance than on a Monday.2 points

Another break? Certainly think Brennan would be the better choice for a wildcard but I’d love to see Bomber trying to go around Zmarzlik as well!2 points

As good as Brennan has been so far tonight and he's improved a great deal this season, he's been very much a nearly man, nearly qualified for the SEC, nearly qualified for the GP Challenge... he's got to seal the deal tonight!2 points

If Brennan gates like that in the final nobody will catch him, been hugely impressive tonight.2 points

You get idiots at most tracks I like to think that most supporters support speedway in general.I go to Sheffield to hopefully see good close racing if we win or lose not too bothered as long as the racing is good and close with all riders getting stuck in and there’s no injuries for me the main thing is that all the teams are still there next season2 points

Judging by the number of posts and time spent on Poole threads I see Trackrat more of a Pirates super fan with a very negative attitude. .2 points

The fence is a recommended standard so why is it any different from any other foam fence.?2 points

There seems to be a bit of a gap (if that's the right word) between the riders that have left the U21 ranks and the "old timers" that compete in the British Final... maybe it's time to re-introduce the qualifiers or an U24 championship?2 points

About 20 minutes later ? That makes it ok then does it ? It was nothing to do with what Tai said. It was in response to a bit of light hearted booing from Tigers fans. Massive uproar on here because Tai swore and kids might have heard it, but it's fine to make offensive gestures that were far more likely to be seen by kids. I know there is a general dislike of Tai on here, but the double standards are laughable at times.2 points

Woffinden’s got this arrogance thing wrong. You can afford to be an arrogant prat when you’re untouchable on track, but not when your sporting performance is declining, and has been for a couple of seasons.1 point

Finally a good three way race for the minor placing and the camera keeps panning away from it and pans to cover Lambert winning rather than stay with the action. Ffs.1 point

I go to Sheffield regular and to be honest the ‘Bend 2 Barmy Army’ do go too far on many occasion with their football style chanting (which no sense a lot of the time) and that can upset some people especially if the language is a bit ‘industrial’, a bit of light hearted banter between fans is fine, hopefully the few bad eggs and any track don’t put fans travelling to these tracks1 point

Why “pot” has been added to my title is rather a stupid comment in the circumstances??? but back to last night and a couple of facts for you , the track doctor administered a pain relief while Rory was on track in agony so they had to stay with him at track side & the pits until NHS medics arrived and took over . Also the incident was originally an emergency response by the local NHS trust but once the track medics had made Rory comfortable at the pits this was downgraded by the NHS to not critical so hence the delay as it was downgraded and we at track side waited for the local ambulance to arrive which did and I presume Rory was taken to the biggest hospital locally Hull Royal over the Humber Bridge . Im sure people attending like myself were put out a little bit but Rory ‘s health and treatment is more important at times like this . Hope Rory has a full & speedy recovery1 point

What sits behind Berwick's fence? What sits behind Scunthorpe's fence? It's all about energy Absorption and dissipation1 point

Mark sounds like they are trying to prove to us, the fans, the riders and the wider sport and TV that they can run a GP. I can see that getting there requires a significant investment and therefore the SON tickets are higher than we'd like. But I hope they don't think that this sets a norm for future events. I'm sitting on the first bend at Cardiff this year for £181 point
