  1. Anyhoo - great race by Dan T https://www.facebook.com/IpswichWitches/videos/1193264679114834/?fs=e&mibextid=wwXIfr&rdid=ZjUGOts9cZVHNxJm
  2. Will be watching with interest - Tom B in for Ben C and with Harris at reserve i'd be expecting a home win.
  3. To be fair when Doyle went under the air fence on the exit of bend two in heat 6 i did fear the worst for his shoulder.
  4. Klindt scored a belting 15 the other year before his injury including one race knocking Danny King off! Seem to recall he beat Emil and that was the night he broke the track record?
  5. Gating is an issue - he looked better in the later stages of the meeting, in his 2nd ride he was challenging to get past and pulled a big locker on the third / fourth bend on lap 1 and fell off. At Sheffield the other week his gating was bad and he wasnt able to get back positions, he didnt come across as racing - we all now Tobi likes to throw the bike about and he does hang off the machien at times - I saw a bit of the last night but not st Sheffield from memoery.
  6. To be fair on his showing tonight I am almost a convert - offset by his poor showing at Sheffield the other week!
  7. King 10+1 Brennan 10, Adam 8+2 then Emil 8+1, Jason 8+1 Dan 7+2 thats my order so three on paid 9 for the final spot. To my mind 8+1 is better than 7+2
  8. not been to either - i generally sit on exit of bend 2 in the grandstand - the crowd looked thinner directly opposite me on the run in ot the first bend etc but maybe they were sat in the grandstand more - saying that so far its been BV, Oxford and Birmingham meaning the Leicester and KL are to come!
  9. I felt the gate was lower than normal tonight as well, sadly with no Peterborough the best 'local matches' are Leicester and Kings Lynn.
  10. have to admit the 2nd half was a disappointment, no Emil / Jason or MJJ - well done Dan however!
  11. He was the only one who prevented a complete whitewash! However heat 13 he was nowehere, All Rew did was to end Toms maximum, i expected far more from him. However Birmingham are 1 point better than their drubbing at Owlerton earlier this season they are improving!
  12. Possibly hes never particuarly impressed me with his riding at Foxhall but looking back he seems to get 5's etc - if the Danyon we know and have seen (too rarely perhaps) shows up then we know he could get a few points.
  13. Being honest Danyon is the better option from all of those, given Zagars effort at Owlerton the other week too - he gated in one ride and stayed out to win (just) but that was largely it.
  14. sadly yes, he looked a wee bit wobbly at Owelrton the other night too, I for one hope he scors a few points anyway and earns a few quid!
  15. I hope for the meetings sake Birmingham put more effort in than they did at Owlerton. MJJ included. Never got the fuss about him in the UK he is bang ordinary!
  16. On the day both can be very good round Owlerton so it makes sense in a way to bring them in, I don't see Sheffield not getting to the playoffs and a lot can happen between now and Sept. Overall weaker for sure but overall probably the correct thing to do!
  17. Can't see anything other than a hefty home win,This will be my second (unless rain intervenes) meeting of 2025 and both will have been against Birmingham.
  18. a villian is needed at times, good race in my view however
  19. Well I did think Leicester would sneak this but well done KL, important win! Hope Ben Cook recovers quick as well
  20. I suspect Dan will ride well - its also maybe a reflection of his current form and the fact maybe no one else was about 😃 Can't see anything other a big big home win
  21. I think a slender away win for this, the league needs KL to win however otherwise i think the top 4 will be decided already.
  22. To be fair it was Kirky lane or nothing, bhut the NSS is the template on which all future tracks / stadia need to aspire to if they can, its a great set up. Given their opening spanking at Foxhall I would say the Aces will be fine - certainly playoff bound!
  23. The teams are shaping up exactly as last year, I know its early etc but the top 4 are the same as last year with KL, Ox and Birmingham as the poor relations - long term its not helpful
