You see I disagree here the moment someone comes off their gate line and secure the pass it’s a pass so off gate 4 you cut back at the apex of bend 1-2 and secure a pass that’s no longer FTG!!

Debates on here often thrash about with a degree of parochial mediocrity so that now passes on lap 1 apparently don’t count and FTG now incorporates everything that occurs on lap 1! we then have people who were not there suggesting they know the crowd figures!

This is sadly true, each to their own as they say but having attended many sports ovet the years, Cricket, Ice Hockey, Rugby both codes, Football, Athletics, Basketball , Horse racing - i can honestly say speedway is still my favourite - the thrill of a great speedway race beats all of them!

what impressed me was both Emil and Jason are just not quite 100% of what they were say 2 years ago but in heat 13 they proved their class and worth!

Well having been to both places - i seriously think tonights Crowd at Foxhall was 3k+ maybe even 4, decent weather school holidays etc but it brought them out. Despite the usual FTG and other mutterings from people who were NOT there the crowd loved it - several standing ovations after races etc - and we got to see 4 genuine top line riders in heat 13! I was happy!

Crowd was bigger than owt you have had this season trust me 😘

agreed back straight grandstand was IMHO 2/3rds to 3/4 full - i reckon 3k+ biggest gate that ive seen at Foxhall this season.

Given I was there I can tell you that the updates got heat 9 wrong - it said FTG - the reality was Brennan clamped Bewley on the inside on 1st / 2nd bend whilst King roared round the outside for the 5-1 - great riding and the crowd sure liked it 😉

I think they are fishing bud🤪 Adam made Bewley look ordinary there on heat 15 great pass

It just means ya lost / majority of the 3k here seem happy with tonight 😉

Heat 13 was pretty awesome - Emil sublime there - made both Dan and Kurtz look pretty ordinary!

in the interestes of speedway lets just put Kings Lynn into 4th spot at the expense of whoever is in fourth spot 😅

Take heart Aces fans, Kurtz can beat the best at Foxhall IF he gates, Zac Cook had a blistering meeting when riding for Wolves the other year so it can be done. I think the Witches will win but it won't be a walk in the park. I think something like 50-40 - looking forward to it anyway and plan to be there.

Never been on my radar but i saw him in the meeting at Foxhall on the BSN last week and I did think he looked a prospect!

Well enjoyable meeting for in some ways - the racing was fairly close in a few heats and there was one or two really good overtaking moves, heat 5 in particular was very good. Aces fell away due to lack of support for the top 3 - Blodorn having a mare right now! Flint and Rowe certainly make the Tigers really strong at home as they back up the heatleaders so well, Morris seems to have picked up well after his layoff also.

Great race that one!

Think this could be close, but expect the Tigers to squeeze home.

I think maybe your make a good point about the age thing, being a senior statesman so to speak comes with a few responsilbilites, plus the desire to pass knowledge on. My tigers mate who attends every week - (and me) noticed how good Tai was with the younger lads, his team riding efforts were really good!

Interested to hear Emil say on the track walk that the straights are very short at Foxhall - the track has been chnaged a fair bit over the years since i first went there in 1988.
