Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2025

I must admit over the years the production on sky / eurosport often uses multiple camera angles which I am not a fan of - i like to watch my speedway from a fixed camera like I watch a meeting from one place only, very often they change the camera angle just as something interesting is happening!! I am going to pay for a meeting and see what its like and then decide form there! -
Ipswich vs Peterborough 23rd march

Witches opening match V the Panthers last year was a poor 40-50 home defeat - they struggled against them at Foxhall all last season needing the super heat or whatever its called to secure the win in the summer - still think a narrow home win this time -
rubbish news as the season is about to start! Wishing him (Jack) a speedy recovery - Anders Rowe for me as a replacement!

Phil Morris appointed Premiership CEO

About 25 years late but maybe better late than never - let’s hope all the aspirations are actually realised!!! Let’s hope he is ‘allowed’ to be effective! -
He’s a frustration for sure - there was spell last year when about June - August time he had a great run of form at Foxhall - his playoffs form was disappointing!
-
100% agree with this - very pleased i would have really felt for him had he not been recalled for 2023

Have to admit when he signed for a Sheffield I was quite keen to see him ride - I actually saw him ride at Owlerton in his Newcastle days over 20 years ago - shame that season never happened!! -
People post all shorts of gibberish on twitter, have seen a few posters on here posting very different stuff on there!

As I said earlier this will be cock up rather than conspiracy - in other words just bad timing given how much support the U.K. is given Ukraine do you really think we have nefarious intentions here
-
Yes one would think all the delays are due to that
-
Well from an Arena Essex perspective - it’s all good - now shall we ask for a Hackney Wimbledon perspective
-
Thanks

What’s Humes average? I think he might not fit given the posting from Presenter on the team building thread
-
It could explain why we have been talking and speculating for so long without an announcement until now
-
To be honest agree - I would have been reluctant to release any news until it’s 100% - maybe the permit is either in process / been told it’s going to happen - who knows
-
100% certain it will cock up rather than conspiracy but at least it gives the offended brigade something to get exercised about - I am sure many including on here could not actually tell you the date the invasion started unless the press helpfully reminded them - besides as far as I am concerned this all started in 2014 anyway
-
It was very prescient of Emil to take out a Polish Licence in 2010 and citizenship - clearly he knew all this was going to happen 13 years later!
-
whilst him being Russian born etc is a bit of an elephant in the room why bring it up - shrugs!
-
It makes sense to just leave / have bikes here then all he has to do is fly in and ride them - some riders I have read cart engines around etc with them. It was interesting to read Tai's autobiography and his experiences of engines with his then tuner!
-
have to admit the idea of what i call a proper heat 15 is tantalising! Bit like the good old days of the 80s with say Gundersen/Pedersen, Knudsen and Tatum - I will certainly make the effort to get to those meetings.

I have decided this year to bin sky - I am contenplating either a Europsoport pass or maybe a BSN one, or maybe both. BSN looks pretty slick can any users confirm confirm its a decent racenight experience / coverage? They seem to have some decent levels of meetings lined up as well wit coverage starting potentially long before the Eurosport coverage starts which is usually in May time. -
Its certainly good to see some top level riders back in the UK - lets hope the racing is good as well
-
sadly over the years I have seen and heard a fair few speedway fans who do lack brains cells! In the past there have been a fair few on this forum also!
-
well given the above we dont need to set our alarms now! note it says other Russians can return to foreign leagues!!

Peterborough Panthers 2023

Of course his best days are behind him - I only work in old money for averages which means I cut out all the moving averges and removal of bonus points rubbish and go by the CMA as it used to be called. Andersen is remarkably consistent last year 5.73 overall - 5.78 at home and 5.68 away - he will be a decent no 2 or reserve if he ends up there for sure. There will probably be a lot of packing in behind the leader - he seems to get a fair few 2nd and 3rd places nowadays!
