Can only see Glasgow being able to afford that.

Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025

Learnt his lesson then! Although Champ a lot closer this season I think, so not making a change could be difference between making the playoffs or not. -

Doesn't Nathan live in the South East like Hagon? So it is okay for one but not the other 🤷♀️ Stewart doesn’t hang about with team changes does he? -
Not sure any clubs do a cheaper option for delayed stream. You could purchase a stream and watch say at 10pm because you are out that evening, but you wouldn't get it any cheaper. A few years ago BSN did a cheaper option if you bought a delayed stream but they don't do that now, assuming they lost too much money doing it and Birmingham need all the money they can get.

Plymouth v Poole BSN, Sat 26/04/25

Tbf he also had a bike issue there. Would have scored his average if not for that. So if anyone moans about that, it is really harsh! -

If only I had that power lol. Everyone should be given first month of the season to settle in at a new club imo. -

Kerr is still settling in. If he does it halfway through the season then I might agree with you. Plus Lewi has it harder than Tom as they put Tom at 3 for first few weeks of last season whilst he was settling in. -

Why do you need to blame anyone? It's a team sport. Everyone has a bad meeting occasionally. Don't remember you two reacting like this in the playoff final when Tom only got 4 at Oxford. But as you say you don't want Lewi at Poole so it suits I guess. Maybe they should put him at 4 whilst settling in. But shame to split up Zach and Anders partnership which is working well already. -

Not sure you can blame it all on him though. -

I thought we did quite well considering half the team were being carried and most of the time we weren't gating. Well done Plymouth. I didn't realise they hadn't beaten us round there for last two seasons. Kinda crazy when they have a big home advantage. -
Ipswich v Birmingham 24th April
LisaColette replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
When BSN just did the Championship they did have a policy of showing everyone at home twice, not including playoffs. So if they are doing the same in the Prem, you will get some comfy home wins going. Especially with a split between top 4 and bottom 3 already. -
Poole Pirates Vs Plymouth Gladiators Bsn 23/4

Trigger gets better at Poole every season tbf. (Had a few guest bookings for Poole last season which prob helped). Must be one of his better away tracks now. -

I'll go for 51-39 just because of it being first home meeting. Hope Kerr can get 8-10 points, just to cut down on potential moaning on here later if he doesn't. -
That's because Leicester had trouble agreeing to any dates put forward apparently - although that was mainly the following year. I think rain offs pushed it back too much as Leicester had to ride at Lynn in the play off final!

Lawson chose to leave.. -
Anyway, Kerr signed for Sheffield. More track time can only be good for us as well.

Only Glasgow pulled out of that summer trophy thingy, a few years back that never got completed. That is what it is based on. How does anyone miss that?

If anyone moans about the track this season, it could always be worse! From 2019. https://x.com/nklindt/status/1914609456928756131

It was so obviously a joke. Even I got that!

Premiership Playoffs 2025
LisaColette replied to old bob at herne bay's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
When Poole moved down they said they would save 30%. I don't know if it is more or less now. But whenever they get asked about moving up they just say that the club can't afford it and isn't sustainable. Thing is in the Championship you just can't see Poole being lower than 5th, unless they had a lot of bad luck in a season. Whereas in the Prem it is a bit harder to consistently be in the top 4 every season. Unless you have to have a lot of money to achieve that. Glasgow would be able to afford it. So if anyone is to be 'promoted' to the Prem it would have to be them. -
I need some clarification lol. I just realised my typo! Are you saying Glasgow is sane? 🤷♀️🫣
-
I know this is the wrong league but talking about technical/tricky tracks to ride, Cairns said that is why he chose Poole in the Champ. He said that he didn't want to go to Glasgow as it is 'too easy'. So maybe in the Prem he wants it a little easier as a bit more tougher to start in?

What about Steve Worrall? Would his average fit?
