  1. Also the weds night thing, but yeah mainly that.
  2. Sometimes it is good not to overthink it and just concentrate on the next meeting (depends on the person). Steve has been busy recently Poole last Weds and Sun, 2 for BV yesterday, Brum Weds, Sheffield Thurs, Poole Friday! Busy time!!
  3. You're welcome. I only really half listen to interviews during the meeting. But when Matt Ford starts talking you definitely listen! Most of the crowd do, almost like you can hear a pin drop (unless you are near a drunk lady! ) Will also keep my fingers crossed for Newcastle and Birmingham.
  4. And when he gets double figures at away tracks at Leicester and so on, can't blame Poole bumps for that. Poole was good and smooth first few months, only last 3 weeks it's been bad. When Hans Andersen rode for Poole he said he liked the 'bumps' as it was home track advantage.
  5. Tbh, he should do better for Poole than BVas it is a slightly easier league.(but obv not this much difference) Watching him at Poole 9 times out of 10 he makes the gate and he is away, also has a good partnership with Stef Nielsen. They seem to know where each other are going to be on the track. Even if he doesn't gate he seems to just stay on the outside and use the grip there to pass others. He beat Ryan Douglas at Leicester but then I guess Leicester is an easier track to ride than Wolves. Maybe he uses different bikes for different leagues? But I'm sure it's not as simple as switching to his 'Poole' bike. I think Middlo and Lemo get on okay so they might be talking about it anyway.
  6. Definitely. Darcy Ward said he has been telling the young aussies the same thing, when they ask him whether to come to the UK first or go straight to Poland.
  7. Snap. I've only been to Wolves twice, once in playoff SF and Final (different years) as we won there both times! I found it stressful as you are just waiting for Wolves riders to sneak past! I think the key is not to ride mid track but I could be getting mixed up with Lakeside!
  8. Sounds like the DJ is trying to rub it in, let's hope it doesn't backfire for them!
  9. He was fine yesterday! He said he was struggling for power at BV when they interviewed him at Wolves. Wolves is a hard track to ride, maybe he is feeling the pressure too much and isn't he captain as well? More pressure when you're struggling.
  10. Yesterday. He definitely said he wanted to have Basso next season, but sounds like he may be in demand that's the impression I got from the way it was said. Hence why I think it's more of a 'we'll see' situation.
  11. Well yes, I'd rather he'd do better for us than BV. But also don't want his confidence to drop so much that it creeps over into the Championship. Maybe Batch wasn't dropping his average after all, maybe the gap is bigger than we thought!
  12. Well I thought he was given the camera so we could see all the action in front! (just kidding). That has got to be one of his best races at Monmore, maybe he is getting to grips with it now He is definitely finding some good form lately.
  13. So you almost need like a Polish set up then? No wonder Bewley does so well! Obv has the talent as well (before I get shouted at!) Slightly better form last week. Not sure about miles better. However if anyone is going to beat Wolves it will be them. But BV could prob knock Peterborough out going on previous meetings, so finishing top is vital!
  14. Yeah we do. Blue top half, black bottom half. Is that okay?
  15. I don't get this. Stevie is really good form for Poole (not sure he's even had a below par one yet) and with the leagues being that much closer these days, he should be on for at least 6 for BV.
  16. Lewis Bridger did a big locker in front of a Poole rider once and the Poole rider got excluded. I guess refs think that riders should be avoiding them. Bit hard if they are close to them before it happens though!
  17. Matt did say he wanted Basso for next season, but it seemed more of a 'we'll see..' situation. I guess it depends what his other commitments are.
  18. Looking at Nick's last 4 home scores, you could well be right 13, 5, 13, 14 The 5 was vs Peterborough. One of the 13's was vs BV. It might be closer but Wolves should have enough to do it. Surprised Worrall is struggling a bit but apparently he isn' t gating.
  19. It was a bigger attendance for the meeting vs Newcastle last Weds night. Now whether fans were put off by the track situation or not keen on Poole riding on an off night (or day), i'm not sure. Be interesting to see what it is like on Friday vs Glasgow.
  20. Okay, I take it he is at the meeting anyway as on twitter he is talking about 2 teammates on either team and not knowing which team to support lol. So you could only use him as a guest then? Is NBJ signed as a replacement for Richie? As he is under BV's green sheet averages.
  21. No, I haven't really seen the Redcar track. Only the odd race posted on SM to show how well Basso did there the other week. But from what I've seen it does look really good!
  22. Can't see it. If Wolves win at BV, they will win at home imo.
