  1. Yeah that is right! That is what we had, depends how many riders have that average or below though as some of the riders we used, their averages have gone over that now. Edit - any rising star and Kyle Bickley (just had a quick look at Sept averages) Bit unlucky with some of them as Gikes is 3.77! Think Kemp (who we did use) is around 3.90 now. Edit 2 - I'd go for Bickley at Poole (we used him a couple of times) and Berwick aren't riding on Friday.
  2. Hmmm, not sure. 7 point win will be fine Tbh I'd prob take a draw! Depends what Stef, Ben and Danyon do. They will be the key as Jack Thomas should at least equal them points wise.
  3. Someone put on twitter that it is Rory's birthday today, so if get near the pits Steve make sure you sing happy birthday to him
  4. Yes. Double figures most meetings I don't think he's got lower than 9 yet, but would have to check that! edit - just checked lowest is 8+1 at Kent (before Batch was in their team) and 8+2 at Berwick. Lowest at Poole is 10. Pretty good going tbf.
  5. Not really anything to do with Poole atm so 'no Poole hat on!' I think it's a bit unfair on riders who are genuinely ill and maybe can't afford an extra week off!
  6. I wonder if Peterborough tried to get Chris Holder but not sure if averages fit.
  7. This is Bjarne we are talking about he has never taken the pee when it comes to riders skipping meetings!! It is still ridiculous. Bit like when schools suspend you for skipping classes. If the cause is riders picking to miss meetings then they aren't gonna be that bothered. Will hurt club more tbh esp if it is a must win meeting.
  8. Absolutely ridiculous, being punished for being ill!
  9. Okay. I thought we had hit a new low for a min then!
  10. Only way I can work it with a North/South divide whilst still having one league! Or you could have 2 separate tables and top 2 or 4 from both meet for playoffs.
  11. I thought he was ill? I'm sure that's what Plymouth said anyway. I hope riders aren't getting suspended for being ill
  12. The table is one league table but you don't play everyone in that table just half of them and top 4 meet for playoff SF or top 8 meet for playoff QF.
  13. Would make sense, more people travelling to away meetings.
  14. Also the weds night thing, but yeah mainly that.
  15. Sometimes it is good not to overthink it and just concentrate on the next meeting (depends on the person). Steve has been busy recently Poole last Weds and Sun, 2 for BV yesterday, Brum Weds, Sheffield Thurs, Poole Friday! Busy time!!
  16. You're welcome. I only really half listen to interviews during the meeting. But when Matt Ford starts talking you definitely listen! Most of the crowd do, almost like you can hear a pin drop (unless you are near a drunk lady! ) Will also keep my fingers crossed for Newcastle and Birmingham.
  17. And when he gets double figures at away tracks at Leicester and so on, can't blame Poole bumps for that. Poole was good and smooth first few months, only last 3 weeks it's been bad. When Hans Andersen rode for Poole he said he liked the 'bumps' as it was home track advantage.
  18. Tbh, he should do better for Poole than BVas it is a slightly easier league.(but obv not this much difference) Watching him at Poole 9 times out of 10 he makes the gate and he is away, also has a good partnership with Stef Nielsen. They seem to know where each other are going to be on the track. Even if he doesn't gate he seems to just stay on the outside and use the grip there to pass others. He beat Ryan Douglas at Leicester but then I guess Leicester is an easier track to ride than Wolves. Maybe he uses different bikes for different leagues? But I'm sure it's not as simple as switching to his 'Poole' bike. I think Middlo and Lemo get on okay so they might be talking about it anyway.
  19. Definitely. Darcy Ward said he has been telling the young aussies the same thing, when they ask him whether to come to the UK first or go straight to Poland.
  20. Snap. I've only been to Wolves twice, once in playoff SF and Final (different years) as we won there both times! I found it stressful as you are just waiting for Wolves riders to sneak past! I think the key is not to ride mid track but I could be getting mixed up with Lakeside!
  21. Sounds like the DJ is trying to rub it in, let's hope it doesn't backfire for them!
  22. He was fine yesterday! He said he was struggling for power at BV when they interviewed him at Wolves. Wolves is a hard track to ride, maybe he is feeling the pressure too much and isn't he captain as well? More pressure when you're struggling.
  23. Yesterday. He definitely said he wanted to have Basso next season, but sounds like he may be in demand that's the impression I got from the way it was said. Hence why I think it's more of a 'we'll see' situation.
  24. Well yes, I'd rather he'd do better for us than BV. But also don't want his confidence to drop so much that it creeps over into the Championship. Maybe Batch wasn't dropping his average after all, maybe the gap is bigger than we thought!
