  1. As Paul Bowen is an advocate of the electric bikes, would he be allowed to ride one in an NDL meeting ?
  2. Sad to hear Tony Mole isnt in the best of health, the man's a legend for the tracks he ressurected/kept running over the years
  3. I read somewhere a few days back that someone said all he does is give them the 6 digit code Assigned to the ticket which the staff have input to allow entry. Just checked some old tickets on my account and the 6 digits seem to be 4 letters and 2 numbers so you would have to make a very lucky guess to give them the right code.
  4. I did it all last season for a mate of mine and a few other people on an adhoc basis. This year as soon as STs were announced my mate asked if I'd get him one.
  5. You obviously live in the only part of the country where banks are opening branches
  6. All I've gone on with is that what it says more or less is that tickets are available on the day subject to availability and a price increase from the advance price. Just copied and pasted the bit from the website. 2023 Pay On The Day Ticket Prices – Online Pay On The Day E-Ticket Oxford Cheetahs Matches – Adults 16yrs+ £22 – Accompanied Children Under 16yrs Free Oxford Chargers Matches – Adults 16yrs+ £14 – Accompanied Children Under 16yrs Free The mention of E Ticket suggests its buy through the website
  7. You can pay on the gate but it costs a bit more and is payable by card. I said last year that I was amazed that the stadium isn't card only for everything. You might like to use cash but lots of places are going card only. Banks are few and far between nowadays so banking the takings is a pain in the neck.
  8. Daft idea alert, bit too late to implement this year but maybe the promoters in all 3 leagues get together and agree to charge £1 entry for press and practice, with all proceeds to the Benevolent fund in forthcoming seasons.
  9. I'd hazard a guess it will be Scott Nicholls for the Cheetahs and Jordan Jenkins for the Chargers.
  10. BWD posted on social media that even though he hadn't ridden more than a few matches here since 2018/19 his CL average had increased and was now too high for teams to take a gamble on him. So concentrating on Grasstrack, i guess until a team think he's worth a run in the team
  11. Think you need to recalibrate your AA roadmap
  12. But on a less serious note are the management committee going BATTY about NORA.
  13. I think with online ticketing if a match is postponed you automaticaly get a refund, less booking fee i assume
  14. Think he was born in Sweden, even if he wasn't he'd surely qualify for Swedish citizenship/nationality being as his mother and no doubt his grandparents on her side are Swedish
  15. Maybe CL believes in his ability to ride upto or above his actual average, as for KR lets see what he does, hopefully well. My point is why all the moaning and groaning, if my memory aint playing tricks didnt DH ride for Ipswich before and was dropped and lots of fans thought he shouldnt have been
  16. So yourself and many Ipswich fans are happy to throw Danyon Hume under the bus saddled with all the pressure of you all thinking he aint good enough, but think its unfair if an Australian has too much pressure.
  17. Posted this in the wrong topic due to fat finger small touchscreen and being in the pub syndrome id love to know what happened The ZK and Poo Pirates gossip will be everlasting unless all the fans who say they know what happened say what happened to cause his hasty transfer along the coast As for those who put him down because of his age, remember John Louis didn't take up speedway until his late 20s and did far more in his career than plenty of youngsters who followed within a far bigger pool of riders. Before anyone jumps on the bandwagon of slagging me off for comparing different era's. I know the sport is generally a young man's game.
