Jay’s mum and dad Leigha and James have done a great job so far of organising it – we just have few things to put in place before we confirm any details. So far it looks a cracking lineup and it will be a four-team tournament style, something which we don’t see anymore in speedway. NOTE: This rider originally rode under his real name of Bernie Lagrosse for Glasgow in 1965 but, when he returned in 1968, Trevor Redmond took some riders to Wales and said if anyone volunteered to be a Welshman for the night, there would be a bonus in it. Lagrosse agreed and Roy Williams was born!

Edinburgh won 8 heats, the comets won 7 heats but still lost by 20 points! Too many last places. There was only one heat where an Edinburgh rider finished in last place and the Comets didn't get a heat advantage all night!
