  1. Anyone here going to the end of season dinner tonight? If you hear anything interesting be sure to share on here, hopefully Emil is there too.
  2. We all know a rider will ride where they want to & in most cases that’s who offers the most. Rew will gain more being at Foxhall again in 25 alongside Doyle & Emil….but who knows what will happen. hopefully Louis can get him signed up.
  3. I hope that you’re right regarding the top two. Doyle I think was agreed before the season ended, Emil I’m not so sure about I know the fans all want that to happen again however it didn’t seem a certainty a few weeks ago.
  4. I think your right there, he came across as a full time witch during the play offs.
  5. Sounds rather bitter, I’ll pass you the lemons!
  6. I’m praying it’s Brennan for King to be honest. King to Brum or Lynn
  7. Spot on, it’s quite funny all the ‘experts’ on here who said Jenkins wouldn’t be at Ipswich 😂
  8. Doyle reassessed to 8.50 due to missing most of the season though injury. All in the interest of speedway & commercial reasons
  9. Things must be decided as Harris has signed 2 contracts for next year. One of those could be abroad as he had 3 club contracts last season but the other one will be in the uk so would indicate that the set up is already known.
  10. Leicester missing their number 8 who was the star of the semi final for them.
  11. One big league worked in the 90s but it wouldn’t work now. There aren’t enough riders to staff all the teams & even if they could somehow find it the strength would be lower than the current championship & the standard of racing would be awful because of the gulf in rider standard. All that while trying to charge the same if not more than current championship admission at least. I can’t see the premiership clubs lowering the cost of admission enough to reflect the lower standard. it would lead to decreasing attendances all over & a race to the bottom to see which club is the last standing.
  12. Is Jenkins a rising star? He wasn’t in 2024 having moved out of the scheme. or am I missing something? This discount was applied for Tom Brennan (Belle Vue) this year and will apply to Jordan Jenkins (Ipswich) and Drew Kemp (Leicester) in 2024, both of whom have moved out of the Rising Star
  13. Hopefully it is a 40 point limit if not we’ll have to look elsewhere for a king replacement
  14. That’s far too weak at the bottom end. Far better of with Ellis & Rew in the middle order.
  15. Totally disagree Danny to be fair scores the points that you would expect. However it’s not all about that is it? The biggest issue is when the chips are down he either goes missing or makes a novice error with riding lines. The semi final at Leicester being a prime example, on a comfortable 5-1 & then falls. Also can’t team ride to save his life I’ve seen more team riding from Nicholls & Brennan in their witches appearances this season than King has managed in the last 5 years.
  16. I can’t see what difference that would make the likes of Bewley, Kurtz, Doyle, Emil & the Holder brothers aren’t going to be realised by their clubs for a point.
  17. King would look good in a Stars race suit next season. If we have any ambition to finally win the league we need to move him on. If Brennan replaces king which I think we all hope & we can hold on to Rew those two guys have massive potential to improve next year.
  18. I’m guessing the other offer Rew has is from Belle Vue. Personally I can’t see how that would benefit him already rides big fast tracks in Poland, staying put at Ipswich can only help his progress.
  19. If it is 39 then unfortunately it would have to be Ellis that makes way, too much improvement in Rew & Brennan. If it says at 40 then one change Brennan for King & everyone is happy.
