Do not think he signed for Sheffield, signed for Kings Lynn and guested for Sheffield. He signed for Belle Vue but only for the play offs.

If Lambert did come back to the UK, it would be for Kings Lynn.

Not sure that is totally true, yes Lawson has done that in the past but he has had a poor season by his standards.

Yes the meeting was excellent entertainment. I thought Glasgow lost their momentum when Harris didn't beat MPT allowing Hodder to try then lost heat 8.

But at least they made the play offs!

I think probably Glasgow because of your reserves but it will take a miracle for you to get there, it is a big deficit. Heat two could tell us everything how the meeting will go. Mountain is clearly the best rider in that heat but Mario at reserve at his best could do a job, he has had a poor season but you never know. Anyway it will be a great night at Ashfield I am sure.

Your heat leaders were poor at Scunthorpe, Leon was poor to start with last night but sorted his bike and was much better later on. Pickering wasn't up to his usual standard but no doubt back to his best tonight. So it augurs well for a great meeting and who knows what can happen. Personally I think Connor Mountain at reserve could be the difference, how he has ended up at reserve with his ability is crazy

Yes probably you are correct, pure speculation on my part. Bates may not pay an extra bonus but more points mean more money and I expect Max doesnt come cheap. Drew Kemp is an enigma, has good nights like last night but not often enough given his ability.

Based on nothing but pure speculation. He may have just got a new engine but he did look very fast, Sam Masters looked fast earlier in the meeting but nowhere near Max when they met. It is a shame for Kings Lynn that they have not seen this form, I thought he used to go well at Saddlebow.

It certainly made it easier for Ipswich but Kings Lynn would have needed to win at Northampton which would have been very unlikely given recent history.

I am pretty sure the bike Max used last night was not the same as the one he has been using for Kings Lynn, it was probably his gp bike. I expect he is on an extra bonus at Sheffield. If Max was guesting for Belle Vue we would have someone talking about the play off curse!

I take your point but if you use the speedway rules, the player that Haaland replaces would have to be of similar standard, Man Utd clearly do not have anyone of similar standard. Max is replacing Jack who is a better rider than Max.

Completely agree it was entertaining and Emil was in the wrong that day and I agree most people would come off worse tangling with Scott, he is a tough guy but very likeable when you talk to him and funnily enough I think they are friends now. As for Cairns, it fired him up, the crowd too and the rest of the team, what is not too like.

Not just the gating he didnt look his usual self maybe bike issues.

Max has been amazing tonight, Pickering not so much.

I like Jody, he has great potential but probably a bit out of his depth tonight.
