  1. He has had poor meetings at kings Lynn this season too and he says its because they prepare the track for gate and go but meetings I have seen on tv it looks like he has lacked speed in those meetings. On Monday he was on fire but the opposition was very poor.
  2. It would be much worse if you only had 5.00 to play with, you are fortunate he has done enough meetings for his average to go up considering he is missing meetings. With his current average he has gone above Flint so Howarth and Flint could take a r/r ride, ok not as good as Nagel but Villads has never ridden Poole before so not sure you could say he would have achieved a better score than r/r or a guest.
  3. He is always good at Poole, whatever the track is like.
  4. Harris loves racing at Wimborne Road.
  5. Ok thanks, wasnt sure of rule, I knew you could ride for your own team after a guest appearance at same venue.
  6. How is Hook allowed to guest for Oxford when he rode there for Workington on Sunday? Doesn't 8 day rule apply?
  7. That is rubbish, Lidsey is one of the best in the league especially away, Zische and Blodorn have both been disappointing but Mulford has been better recently, Zach has had an up and down season but is capable of good scores in the play offs.
  8. Yes agreed and I dont think it would make a big difference if Thomsen was there. They have a good guest in Hook who is going well but Jenkins and Mcdiarmid are not really and Heeps is awful so I think it will be close.
  9. Would prefer it if all riders were available but clubs know this when they are signed and are willing to accept it. Poole should have a full team.
  10. Well it certainly improves your options, r/r wouldn't be too bad.
  11. Absolutely, without Nagels I would fancy our chances but he is a game changer, Glasgow did a fantastic job to get him.
  12. That is a pretty poor Glasgow team compared to now, Harris has had better meetings too!
  13. Yes they can and I will be at Oxford hoping for a win but it is not necessary to risk Toby when we can use Kerr and the reserves, who usually go well at Oxford. Thomsen is a vital member of the Poole team, this is not the time to risk him.
  14. Doyle and Emil and King and Ellis did not have the best meetings and they still only lost by 8, you know that when the play offs come around they will all be much better, I cannot see how Ipswich can lose unless Howarth is more successful next time in his attempt to take Doyle out.
  15. What is wrong with Emil? Zero wins all night.
  16. Your only 4 down if you only lose by 4 away from home in the play offs you would settle for that.
  17. Rugby is a contact sport where even players of similar ability get hurt so it is very dangerous to ask players of lesser ability to compete as there is is very high risk of very bad injuries and there is no system to draw players from other teams except the youth teams n your club. Speedway in this country relies on a guest system because it is the only cost effective solution to the problem of injuries. I get your point though and there should be a maximum guest rule otherwise it could be a team full of guests.
  18. So do we think it can be strapped up and he may be able to race?
  19. Big blow for him and us, irreplaceable in our team. Hope it is not as bad as he seems to think.
  20. For anyone thinking we are against a weakened team, Etheridge got paid 14 last time so a good guest for Gusts who is now in the main body and Hagon is a good guest at reserve for Knudsen who got 3 last time.
  21. Yes gets my vote too, has had a very good season overall, riders always seem to come back too soon after injuries so it takes them longer to get back to full fitness.
  22. I think it will be a walk in the park. Kurtz won't gate, Zach can be good at Foxhall but is out of form. 54-36.
