  1. Having ridden with Ipswich and been to the premiership tracks, I don't think the Championship tracks should be a problem to Rew.
  2. Exciting times at Oxford this season, who wouldn't want to watch Bomber, Maciej and Charles Wright every week, might be tempted to visit myself and watch the occasional Premiership meeting.
  3. As he hasn't ridden here for so long then re-assessed on a 8 point average would be fair. I think it is fantastic he is riding here and I will try to see him ride as much as possible, he was always a pleasure to watch.
  4. Rew would be better in my view, he is likely to improve over the season, Vissing will not.
  5. Maybe Rew can be tempted to ride in the Championship with Workington, i would have thought having Keynan and Tate in the same team would be good for team spirit.
  6. I believe you have to ask for the reduction, as Maciej hasn't ridden here since 2015, a reasonable request I would have thought. Riders like Chris Holder or Tai wouldn't have requested a re-assessment as they would have been re-assessed upwards.
  7. Any team not fully announced yet is probably scratching around for cheap alternatives.
  8. No I do not think they ever said that, they said they preferred to run Wednesday as it gives more flexibility and it is a business and has to be run as a business. It is clear that Championship speedway is cheaper to run with obvious savings on riders wages.
  9. That is complete twaddle, we got good crowds, it is just cheaper to run a Championship team.
  10. He is a nice guy and a good rider on his day but has had quite a few injuries so maybe taking a bit of time out of the sport. I hope he returns one day.
  11. He doesn't say why it would not work for Poole. I am sure the fans would turn up whatever day we were racing.
  12. Hopefully prove better than I predicted.
  13. Our warehouse staff always get a big bag of peanuts at Christmas!!
  14. Troy it is then, should be a good signing on his current average.
  15. A happy new year to you and speedway fans everywhere . I havent posted on here because our team has been finalised.Your only on here to moan about Poole fans.
  16. It is other club fans that keep bringing Poole up.
  17. Haha very good, he may not be that good but I would think in this weaker league he should be able to average 4.
  18. Haha yes, Doyley still crashes quite a bit! Batch being half a lap ahead is a very distant memory! At Hagon's age you don't want to take away his desire to go for gaps.
  19. Maybe I got that wrong but he is quite inconsistent, he can get 7 or 2 in a meeting which is why he ends up with 5 overall. Also I don't think he has any improvement in him whereas riders like Bailey and Edwards at Redcar still have plenty to come.
  20. Bit early to say Hagon is a crasher at his age, I think he has potential to be a decent rider, Ablitt is better than him at the moment but as a pair I think Hagon and Perry could be better than Ablitt and Harrison, we will have to see how it pans out. Lambo nearly got a max at Poole in the cup!
  21. Maybe next season in a weaker league he will improve but he has been quite inconsistent in the past.
  22. No convincing needed, Poole are a good team even with Thomsen, Scunthorpe have riders like Howarth and MPT who need to improve quite a bit from last season.
  23. No i don't think you were but I wasn't saying you should have got him instead of Ablitt, fully understandable you got Nathan as he rode for last season.
