  1. I think Hagon is better than Ablitt, as is Complin, Joe T and even possibly Liebman.
  2. Looks a poor team.MPT was poor last season and Howarth is not a good number one.
  3. Wear and tear on van, extra servicing costs, tyres etc unless all van costs are paid.Hotel rooms unless they always sleep in the van. Food costs more if you dont eat at home and its tiring travelling long distances and tiredness leads to eating more than you would normally. I would expect an allowance for fuel, i would not expect every mile of fuel is paid as some fuel would be for personal use.
  4. I think in that particular race she certainly seemed to pick the better lines but if she is competitive with a 5 point rider then she should achieve over her current average so as long as she does that then all good, if on the other hand that race turns out to be a one off then she may not achieve her assessed average, either way a brave move by Workington who are looking like a decent team.
  5. Best top 4 but that wont win anything if the bottom end is poor
  6. I agree with that, Hagon will do well, probably one of the best two pointers in this league.
  7. Agree with you there Steve, the good thing is Thomsen cannot drop below 4 so he can be changed during the season or I have got it wrong and he turns out to be a good signing.
  8. No of course not but I would expect him to know about other teams due to his links with Poole management.
  9. Well as a sponsor he would know more than the average fan and would consequently would know more about other teams.
  10. I doubt any rider would be told during the season that they are not wanted the following season .
  11. Poole cannot of known in August that Brennan would be available or did they? You would have thought Darcy first recommendation to Tate would be Poole.
  12. That is how Lawson keeps his average down. No so silly Rocketman.
  13. Yes I agree could be track time could be a factor. No idea why Poole track can't be used more when we are not racing.
  14. It does seem the inference is that Workington knew they was high chance they would be moving up and Tate would be available, doesnt mean they knew the points limit at that stage or that it was a certainty he would sign for them .
  15. I would imagine that was because Poole's team plans even at that stage could not fit him in. He has been chatted about as a prospective Poole rider for quite a while.
  16. Ah yes good point, still be good value on a 6
  17. It isnt only fuel that has a negative effect on a riders costs when they travel long distances.
  18. He certainly was in the cup final, he was on fire, gating well and when he missed the gate, making some terrific passes, worried about Douglas but it was Lambert who was the star rider.
  19. No all Poole fans, I would agree with you, personally prefer to have a youngster with potential, I realise he would be a 5 pointer in this league but a little surprised Rew hasn't got a Championship spot somewhere.
  20. Exactly, so they see Thomsen as best available 4 pointer .
  21. Yes the problem is potential at the moment, Tobias has the potential to be better than I expect.
  22. He rides in a poor league now, I think the Championship is a level above Danish div 2
