  1. Yes good chance of Ben ending with a high 8, with a bit of Lawson type manipulation maybe lower, i dont think Tom will be a failure I just think his points could be used better.
  2. Yes exactly my point, don't mind being proved wrong though!
  3. No knocking Brennan his a good rider, no one can dispute that but I just think we could have used his points better.
  4. Not sure how an overall points reduction doesnt make it weaker. Having two pointers at reserve is making teams weaker at reserve although some teams havent taken that route. Last season we didnt start with 3 top averaged heat leaders but we all knew Ben was more than capable of the step up to heat leader.
  5. Not in my opinion, in this weakened league he needs to be over 8, depends how others in the team go whether or not it was a good decision to get him.
  6. I dont think getting Brennan is a no brainer, has been inconsistent at Poole in the past but I realise as a home rider that should change. Some seem to think he is a 9 point rider on 7 point average, do not see him achieving more that 8.
  7. Obviously I hope it works out for us. If Max is as good as some seem to think maybe another permutation that could of been considered and maybe was considered is Rowe and Newman instead of Brennan and the rider as yet unannounced.
  8. Yes I think that would be a more balanced team. Kyle will be a heat leader for Plymouth.
  9. No I didnt say that did I. In my opinion Newman and Joe would get more points than Brennan and Perry.
  10. I would agree, especially with Max, we could have had Newman and Joe T instead of Brennan and Max. Sam Hagon is no issue, potentially a very good rider.
  11. I have never said anything about writing Hagon off, he has a lot of potential and could have a great season and I think he will, all i am saying is Perry is a big risk especially as he is coming back from injury. We could used Brennan's points better and had a more strength in depth team.
  12. We had a strong reserve in n 2021 and 2022, not only have got two 2 point reserves, we are now getting a 4 pointer that has never ridden here before.
  13. Yes I agree, previous teams have always been built with one strong rider at reserve.
  14. We could have kept the reserves and had Newman and Rowe.
  15. True but our reserves may struggle against teams who havent gone with 2 pointers, could have got Ablitt back, at least he has experience in this league, Perry may well be one that struggles, just think Brennan's points could be used better lower down.
  16. Personally I do not like the way this team has been built, looks very vulnerable lower down, I would prefer not having Brennan and having better riders lower down with at least one strong reserve.
  17. It looks a really poor team, surprised Howarth hasn't returned.
  18. Maybe a little harsh but I feel he is a better rider than what he showed last season.
  19. He was poor for both his teams last season, needs to step up and show us that he is better than that.
  20. Looking a good team so far, Kemp has loads of ability, this could be a big season for him.
  21. I am pleased for him, had a good season and deserves a team spot.
