I agree with that but I think it will be close between Fricke and Doyle, can't see Holder challenging them for top spot. I don't rate Ipswich either but I can see Peterborough challenging again especially if Basso performs as expected.

It really doesn't matter who the riders are, he could still grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

There is no doubt Mark Lemon was a good consistent rider never a top rider but a good team rider, his team management on the other hand has been poor, to not win at least one title with Belle Vue, considering the teams he has had, is not good enough in my opinion.

That is roughly 3.1% more than my wages have gone up in the past 5 years!!

I was alluding to the amount of leagues that riders were allowed to ride in although there could be other factors that are stopping them from riding here. I have no idea just guessing.

Sheffield signed Musielak to prove it isn't that difficult to get top Polish riders here but of course that doesn't apply to Kenneth Bjerre if indeed that is who you are after. I am guessing it is do do with the restrictions currently imposed on riders.

Well it all seems a bit cloak and dagger especially when you consider how long they have had to sort it out and Sheffield seemingly got Musielak without too much problem.

Well it looks like the bid has failed or it would have been announced by now.

In most cases it I his fair to say that the reason usually is they are scared of the backlash, the last two are likely to be very poor signings so probably won't be announced until March.

Be interesting to see where this team finishes, my thoughts are a top two finish with Sheffield the main threat unless Belle Vue pull off a couple of shocks. Peterborough fans are going to love Basso with his never give up attitude and he will be at reserve which is a big plus.

Craig Cook is very good when his mind is on it and i think this season it will be, Ulrich is a worry for both Glasgow and Peterborough after injury but i do think Basso can put two points on his average and Danyon Hume will improve too so in my view Glasgow are serious title contenders.

Totally agree with that comment, Proctor has been going downhill for a couple of years now. I can only assume they had someone else in mind but got turned down.

There's more than one way to build team, strength in depth maybe better.

I don't think Kemp is strong enough to cover for a very weak reserve.

I think you need at least one strong reserve which is why I am a little worried About the Poole team. Obviously having two strong reserves weakens the team higher up but no reason why it can't work.

Brennan is the strongest but maybe not a lot to choose between the rest, there are a few that this could be their make or break season.

Connor Mountain could be a weak link too.

I think Bewley would beat Fricke at Belle Vue.

Yes a good septet, Musielak is the rider who could change their fortunes but they still have weaknesses which could be exploited.

Sheffield look a good team but they have their weaknesses too.
