2022 championship predictions
foreverblue replied to Jaizer's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
As all the teams haven't been announced yet difficult to say, Berwick could be an outsider depending who the last rider is. My feeling is the best team that has been announced is Glasgow. -
Looks a good side with improvement in most of the rider's, even Masters could be better than he showed last season, the only rider who may not improve is probably Morris.
-
Still can't see how you would have won , Peterborough had too much strength, i thought Masters and Morris let you down more than Nicol.
-
Yes we knew you would be.
-
What would be the point in Danny King improving his average, he gets paid points coming second so no benefit money wise and it is usually of no benefit to improve your average much with a view to the following season.
-
Looks a good side to me if Becker is the last rider, maybe a slight weakness at reserve but both reserves have plenty of scope to improve.
-
Yes you're right my mistake miscalculation. So safe to assume CVS buckled and Becker will be at Wolves. Looks a top team if Becker is the last rider.
-
I don't think Becker fits with what is left so he must be off to the Aces.
-
I believe we got special dispensation to use r/r for that one.
-
Must have been allowed r/r for that one. I am pretty sure all the other meetings we used a guest.
-
We don't both know , i have no idea what you are going on about.Nobody cares about speedway in this country apart from us fans. It was said earlier that we had r/r for Smetana who couldn't ride due to travel issues but this is untrue as we couldn't use r/r , we had to use a low average guest.
-
How can it as we didn't cheat.
-
Cheating to win the 2nd division , where did you dream that one?
-
We are not victims, we love winning whoever the opposition is and we have done quite a lot of it in recent times!
-
Have you a map saying Paul is a town in Dorset.
-
We can only hope you read it first.
-
You could say that about a couple of riders in the final, to me it looked like Peterborough wanted it more.
-
I think your amazing track has a lot to do with crowd sizes, play offs make a big difference at most clubs and is a money spinner for the clubs involved. I have been to many play offs and went to Peterborough for the final as I was working in the area at the time and most would tell you it wasn't the normal crowd size. I don't think play offs are the problem and are usually fantastic race meetings, obviously I realise not so fantastic for Belle Vue fans! I don't know the answer but I don't think that the sport needs to encourage younger fans somehow.
-
I doubt many Poole fans wanted the demise of Coventry, I loved trips to Brandon, seeing Andreas Jonnson fly past Tony Rickardsson and Leigh Adams was a sight to behold. Yes we had a rivalry but the sport needs that. I am very sad it has gone.
-
My view is most teams have fans who turn up however their team is doing, what you are saying is more Belle Vue fans turn up than most. It is certainly true success helps attendances and I believe a different team manager would help you in that regard.
-
Years gone by maybe, wouldn't happen the way Speedway is run now
-
At least we know you are only short term!
-
Yes they did, Crump was re-assessed.

Oxford Cheetahs 2022
foreverblue replied to CowleyCheetahs's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Batchelor is more reliable at this level and I can't see Nicholls level dropping. Heep is on a very low average and Thomas has a lot of potential. It seems a very well balanced team, play off material in my view. -
Yes that is what I was trying to say but some seem to take it as I don't think Kemp is good enough which is not correct. I think Kemp has a lot of potential and will win races but I think making him the stronger reserve is putting too much pressure on him as this stage in his career.
