  1. Oh well have to use Zach which is a good thing I think, he is a better rider than Jack Thomas in my opinion.
  2. I doubt many Poole supporters think is going to be easy. Glasgow are a top team, we have Basso, they have Nowak and it could come down to who wins that particular battle. It going to be very close and could go either way.
  3. According to forecast rain should stop by Monday evening so should dry in time I would have thought.
  4. As far as I can remember all play offs finals have been run in October so with the weather in this country, rain offs and the season running in to November should be expected now and again. I think with all the issues with covid and brexit we should be happy that Speedway is happening at all and I think clubs have done a great job in general. Going forward it is fair to say more could be done to get the season finished earlier but for now happy that we are seeing two teams going all out in hopefully dry weather to win the playoffs even if it is in November and there will be fireworks one way or another.
  5. Yes Lisa, Zaine did better than expected but couldn't do the play off and Zach is better at Poole usually and has been saved for the final. Still have no idea why he isn't doing away leg, they obviously think Jack Thomas is better at Glasgow. Personally I would think Zach is more reliable but Jack Thomas rode well there for Birmingham.
  6. I doubt he has met anyone who falls into that category. Never been to Glasgow but I doubt if all the inhabitants from the area are like some of the posters on here.
  7. Yes true I do not think it is anyone they have met and I don't think it is right to criticize other clubs fans on a forum and say they don't want their club in the same league because of one or two fans comments. Most of it is said tongue in cheek anyway.
  8. Don't know why you would say that. Edinburgh and Poole are both nice places with nice people.
  9. Yes agree with that, looking at forecasts for both tracks it is possible both tracks will be dry at the time of the meetings, just depends if they can get the tracks dry enough to race on prior to the meeting. As i said previously i have been to many wet meetings where sawdust was used to dry the track and went to a cup meeting at Poole on a Sunday many years ago which was delayed for about 2 hours so they could sort the track after a heavy downpour, obviously they couldn't delay a night meeting but the could use sawdust or something similar if sawdust isn't allowed these days .
  10. Nathan Greaves has retired , they have Jason Edwards as a guest so Zaine might get some points after all!
  11. Play offs are usually a lottery as they are ridden late in the season when the weather isn't so great but they bring in the crowds and are usually fantastic meetings as we saw in the Premiership play offs. I have always thought you need to top the table too so nobody can say you weren't the best. Personally I love them for the drama and excitement they produce and the all out everything on the line racing that just doesn't happen in normal league racing.
  12. Doesn't anyone use sawdust anymore , been to many wet meetings that required sawdust.
