  1. Mark Lemon rarely seems to make the right decision at the right time, he is a nice guy but they really ought to invest in a team manager that knows what he is doing, he made some howlers in the play off final too.
  2. Yes true Kings Lynn wasted no time getting rid of Cook last season.
  3. I don't think the powers that be care much about any competitions in this country and they are certainly not going to change the fixtures for the benefit of the fans. We just have to accept it as it is and cup competitions mean very little. Personally i think this gives Belle Vue a much better chance of winning, Musielak is a far better than Richie Worrall, i expect they would have had his brother had he been available .Can't see r/r being of benefit to Sheffield either, Cook is good at the NSS.
  4. Bit strange for a polish rider they normally love the NSS.
  5. I think Kings Lynn team is pretty good definitely play off contenders and Jack Thomas is a decent reserve.
  6. This is the stage of the season where everyone is full of hope!
  7. Yes I can see Worrall moving out of reserve fairly quickly with Kerr dropping down.
  8. As I said he is capable of better than his current average and he is a decent rider but he will have to improve a lot from last season at Ipswich where he was pretty awful although I think he has a fairly good record at Belle Vue and will want to impress so time will tell.
  9. That is the Allen who was so poor he managed to get his average below 5! I agree he is better than his current average but he is no superstar.
  10. Ipswich didn't need to be below the limit , they may have one or two who can improve but it looks a poor team to me.
  11. Yes I don't think that they will challenge, obvious choice is Sheffield and Kings Lynn may surprise a few.
  12. Don’t really fancy Ipswich to challenge personally, I don't know why they built a team so far under the points limit. If Belle Vue can get a decent heat leader mid season to replace Etheridge or Allen then they could challenge. Wolves look ordinary but have a massive home advantage and Steve Worrall could be a great signing. Kings lynn are the dark horses if Kildermand could come to form they could have a great season but Sheffield are the team to beat, I doubt anyone would question that,Musielak is a fantastic signing. Peterborough will not give their title away easily though. A very interesting season to come with hopefully some great racing.
  13. Basso can definitely push on, he can put at least a point on his average, could be Ostergaard that drops to reserve but he can be unbelievable at times if he could get back to form. Personally I don't think Panthers will win the league again but they will give it everything on a great racetrack and in my opinion have the best team manager in the Premiership.
  14. All other Premiership teams completed ages ago
  15. All riders are short term if they underperform
  16. Yes everyone should have to perform to keep their place, Poole were often criticized for team changes when a rider was under performing but if you don't perform you should get the sack, it is just that if you have two riders competing against each other in the same team they won't help each other and team spirit could suffer.
  17. And even if they did you could change the team just before they came in to effect, even Lemon could work that one out.
  18. I expect they thought it would be unlikely to turn over the best team in the league over two legs so get a cheaper option for the cup and gives them longer to consider their options going forward. Jake is a good rider and very capable of putting a point on his current average so it could be Etheridge that is replaced later in the season, not sure if it is good for the team to have riders competing against each other though.
  19. Oh bugger, I was going to turn up in my kevlars monday, Jake has beaten me to it!!
  20. Because you would have expected a Belle Vue rider to win, surely Fricke should beat Toft, don't know why you would mention Poole fans!!
