Oh dear!
-
No idea about Foxhall, I rarely go there, not my favourite track to visit. I would think as it is a technical track he would be ok there.
-
Danny King is a bit of a worry for tomorrow with his form in the pairs last night, he is a track specialist at Birmingham so hopefully he will be ok and obviously the opposition tomorrow is not the same but as he used to be a Peterborough rider I was a little surprised at him getting passed so easily.

We could be called the Fulham of speedway, they won the championship and Stamford Bridge is in Fulham so all good!!
-
But we usually finish top!

Redcar v Poole 13/5/22
foreverblue replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Haha, how original!! -
Thanks, there are people who want us to close just as there are people who want Poole Speedway to close.
-
Yeah probably, I just hope I have a football team to support next season!
-
No that would have been an improvement!

Plymouth vs Poole (League) 3rd May
foreverblue replied to lbw's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not seen any sour grapes just honest assessment. One poor away result in May isn't going to affect our season much. -
Doesn't matter too much as long as Basso is available.
-
Oh ye of little faith!!
-
I was kidding but The biggest football club in the world is probably Real Madrid currently. The biggest in UK is probably still Man Utd but if their trophy cabinet remains empty then they may drop down a bit soon.
-
I thought Manchester City had a reasonably full trophy cabinet!

Oxford v Poole 20/4/22

I wasn't at Oxford, I couldn't make it. I mentioned Poole had a CL rider at reserve too in response to someone that said Oxford were us a CL rider as a guest. -

I don't think Oxford are a bad team not as good as some maybe at the moment. We will have to see how they perform against other teams before we can really judge. -

Oxford put a good team on track, just beaten by a better team. -

It was a new track for us too, I am sure they have practiced on it more than we had. Any away win is a great result. -

Leicester v Poole Sat 16th/4/22

Good meeting last night, good racing too with lots of passing, the Cooks are never at their best at Leicester but they were very poor last night. Fortunately for us Kemp was superb as were King and Lawson but Steve Worrall was off the pace, getting passed by his brother doesn't happen very often but in fairness Richie looked very quick. So a good night and a good point earned.. -

Yes thinking about it, as long as we have one good reserve then we should be ok. -

Lawson is going well but Rory was terrific at Leicester so he will do well to match him, I just feel like the team is a bit top heavy. -

We have hit the ground running as it were, Ablitt won't score too many but I suppose we don't need him to, we will need him to in some meetings though, can't see him lasting the season to be honest. -

I agree on current form but teams change over the course of a season and judging by the way some teams have started I expect many changes. Glasgow are a top team and Basso could make the difference for them.
