  1. Not sure it was for his own reasons but I would have thought the choice was Rew for Ellis not Danny.
  2. Yes for Birmingham he should be good but not sure why he would want to leave the league favourites.
  3. Do you not think he may have more improvement than Ellis.
  4. Considering how well Rew seems to be performing, does the Ipswich faithful think it was a mistake letting him go?
  5. Personally do not think the EFL trophy is comparable as it is open to all Premier League and Championship u21 teams to play against League one and league two teams.
  6. I dont really know why giving a team a bye is so bad, far more credible than having a team from a lower league in it. As you say it would not happen in football
  7. How would that work then? We have to have riders of Premiership heat leader quality. Very difficult and expensive to draft in riders who are unattached.
  8. Well at least they are both ex Poole riders.
  9. Its a business model that works. Championship same crowds as Premiership and cheaper to run so why worry about the top league .
  10. Ah forgot that, very unlucky, couldnt say he was injury prone though.
  11. Cant think of many recent injuries or any last season. With his experience and commitment to British Speedway I think he will be one of the top men in the Championship.
  12. I seem to remember Klindt rode M.G pretty well although a long time ago also remember him riding there for more than one season so he cant have been that bad.
  13. He will, he is one of the best gaters so should be no problem and although he may not pass riders of equal ability he should have no problem with lesser riders.
  14. Good signing, he will score heavily and is probably cheaper than Zagar.
  15. Of course they would not have gone if they had not won but it was paid for by Poole as a thankyou.
  16. Might depend on who gets the triple word score!
  17. About 11.30ish, loads of good humoured banter with some welsh people who may have had a few too many on the train back.
  18. Cardiff had plenty of options if you were willing to go on a 20 min train ride.
  19. Yes me too, personally think it is short sighted of the organisers as last was good, better racing than previous year and I believe crowd levels would have been better. Crowd levels were down last year because previous years racing was not good.
  20. Glad to make someone's day on a monday morning. Makes it all worthwhile.
