  1. Pleased to hear Klindt hasn't been injured badly, he really needs to give up the unequal challenge now. Looks like we could get a decent replacement on his average now it seems the 1.4 multiplier is no longer in operation, the best would seem to be Milik. Poole asset Perks seems to have been harshly treated by Rye House hope he gets fixed up soon.
  2. Personally I think he will be fine now and back to form judging on his recent scores, well I hope so, always liked him as a rider and I think it is unfortunate how this season has started for him.
  3. Do you know the rules on replacing a rider like for like now we have a 42 point limit, is the 1.4 conversion still used?
  4. I think with a full team they are the most likely winners but a lot can change between now and the play offs.
  5. Well said, a very good assessment. One of my favourite tracks prior to NSS being built was Peterborough usually good racing there and I expect it still is although in a lower league.
  6. Nicolai Klindt is riding in the SEC so we will see how that goes, many have ridden with an injury in the past and I feel he just needs a couple of meetings to get used to riding with the injury.
  7. In my original post I didn't refer to any particular incident it was a generalisation and at the time I wasn't thinking of the hotel room, I was referring to his bike incidents in Australia. He wasn't a child at the time of his actions at the hotel.
  8. I expect the judge had his own views on the matter which were not aired in court. Darcy has always taken all the flak for this though when there were others involved who never seem to get a mention.
  9. I don't know I said that because the defendants were cleared.
  10. Don't know what was said exactly. as I said I don't condone his off track actions.
  11. I like to think of the positive side of sport and some people will always dislike Darcy for his wrongdoings but he did so much on the track that I am grateful to have witnessed, some of his races were truly breathtaking. He certainly would have loved the NSS track and might have misgivings about the Poole track currently but he is very much missed by most fans for his on track actions.
  12. There were plenty of bottles consumed I imagine by all involved and all were cleared.
  13. It was acceptable to a judge that didn't prosecute either of the defendants.
  14. So if we need to replace Klindt do we still use the 1.4 multiplier for average conversion?
  15. I don't think any of us would want to think or know what our children get up to and many do a lot worse things than what Darcy got up to and if Darcy wasn't in the public eye maybe we wouldn't have heard about it. I am not condoning his off track actions but I think continually slating him for his past is a bit over the top considering how he lives his life now. He should be remembered for his on track actions and we should be grateful that we were lucky enough to see him ride.
  16. I think it is Monday. Oh yes realise that now probably shouldn't post before 9!
  17. Because they are coming in on old existing Elite averages and the current averages are based on championship or existing premier averages.
  18. I didn't do it to stir you up, just thought you and Stevebrum have a similar kind of discussion to the other four posters mentioned.
  19. Don't think GP Greg or Wozniak would fit average wise i'm assuming any rider coming in who has an established average would have that average multiplied by 1.4.
  20. True but what if he does SEC and rides well, it was his first meeting back after all.
