Don't you think i hope that too. At their best i still think Newman is better and most would have agreed he had more improvement in him than Starke, in fact quite a few said Newman was a snip on his average for this season. Starke had a poor start with Somerset but has been going well for Peterborough and as i said i understand why the change was made but still feel Newman wasnt given enough time to get back to the form we all know he is capable of but its done now and Paul is a nice guy who deserves all our support.

There isn't one available we should have kept Kerr until Newman got his form back, all i am saying is there is little to be gained and because Newman is local alot of fans know him and is well liked. Starke was well liked too when he rode for us before and no doubt will be again but many fans have voiced their disapproval of the move.

Not getting on Starke just don't think he will improve us much. Newman paid 12 at home and paid 6 from 4 rides at Edinburgh who are a good team and Starke got 9 from 6 rides when he rode at Edinburgh so not much in it.

I do understand that Matt Ford thought that we can't go on with a misfiring Newman but Starke isn't the answer, his score was poor last night for Peterborough and Newman rode better for Ipswich on thursday and Matt Ford maybe thinking he was a bit hasty especially as he can't get him back now.

well you expect most on here to be up to speed on these things but there are a fair number of fans just go to watch the racing and don't worry about averages or rules.

it mentions in the Echo about an initial 4 meeting spell for Zengota so if KK is fit he may come back sooner but no doubt Matt Ford will want to assess his form before getting him straight back in the team. The Zengota was announced on the 25th of May so assuming they actually signed him at least a day before he could come back after Zengota's 28 day spell on june 21st.

I don't think he would do that, he loves Poole and Poole speedway. Someone said he couldn't come back to Poole this season anyway as apparently the rules don't allow it.

It always has been a 4 ride average but it still includes heat 15 rides, number of rides divided by 4.

At Poole we always round the averages down!! I thought everyone knew the Poole rules, they tend to be different from everybody else's!!

No idea really Tesar Racing mentioned it earlier so I responded but this sort of thing often happens when the team has issues, I think also Stevehone has mentioned it in the past too but I think his point was more to do with the stadium rather than Matt Ford.

I don't see I am goading anyone, I don't see I egg him on, in my opinion he was just defending his track and because I agree Monmore isn't a horror track I say so. I said I didn't like all the flack KK was getting is annoying and I hoped he would come back and prove him and others wrong. The problem as I see it is that both you and him always want the last word and we all get fed up with you two slagging each other off.

I don't think Matt Ford will go because whatever some may think he is a fan first and it would be a massive decision to let the club he loves be run by someone else.
