In my original post I didn't refer to any particular incident it was a generalisation and at the time I wasn't thinking of the hotel room, I was referring to his bike incidents in Australia. He wasn't a child at the time of his actions at the hotel.

I expect the judge had his own views on the matter which were not aired in court. Darcy has always taken all the flak for this though when there were others involved who never seem to get a mention.

I like to think of the positive side of sport and some people will always dislike Darcy for his wrongdoings but he did so much on the track that I am grateful to have witnessed, some of his races were truly breathtaking. He certainly would have loved the NSS track and might have misgivings about the Poole track currently but he is very much missed by most fans for his on track actions.

There were plenty of bottles consumed I imagine by all involved and all were cleared.

It was acceptable to a judge that didn't prosecute either of the defendants.

So if we need to replace Klindt do we still use the 1.4 multiplier for average conversion?

I don't think any of us would want to think or know what our children get up to and many do a lot worse things than what Darcy got up to and if Darcy wasn't in the public eye maybe we wouldn't have heard about it. I am not condoning his off track actions but I think continually slating him for his past is a bit over the top considering how he lives his life now. He should be remembered for his on track actions and we should be grateful that we were lucky enough to see him ride.

Because they are coming in on old existing Elite averages and the current averages are based on championship or existing premier averages.

Don't think GP Greg or Wozniak would fit average wise i'm assuming any rider coming in who has an established average would have that average multiplied by 1.4.

True but what if he does SEC and rides well, it was his first meeting back after all.

We should be able to get a reasonable second string but we cant unless we get a new rider on a assessed average below 6.21 which i dont think we can. A rider of Klindt's ability riding at reserve should be at least on a 7. The only viable alternative is Sedgeman in my view so the options are very limited.

Not great for Poole he started on 5.42 and has only gone up to 6.21 and there is no other rider available on his average with his ability

i think they ride some fridays too depends on his schedule but would be good for him and certainly good for Peterborough anyone would be better than Hall!! If we replace Klindt and we have 6.21 to play with, who can we get? Todd Kurtz?

Poole didn't threaten his career, he decided to ride, for 3 rides he just trundled round at the back, riding not racing and he will most likely ride in the SEC at the weekend, maybe we are all being harsh as it was his first meeting after his injury and should give him time.

I expect when KK gets his 4H/4A then his average will be much reduced and we may be under 42 point limit anyway, whether that will help to get new riders is difficult to know at this stage, even if he got double figure scores every week from now on his average will be quite a bit lower than it is at the moment. Hans has not got a neck fracture or any broken bones in his neck although the headline was breaking news!!

it isn't as though we can hide and say the track was ok because it was clearly pretty awful, I don't go to every meeting but the track is quite often bumpy in places but last night was particularly bad maybe over watered I don't know, hopefully be better for the next meeting against Kings lynn. Some may say home advantage but I can't see how it is helping us and certainly isn't helping the entertainment value.

It has always been the rule you can do that, why moan now? It doesnt favour Poole can't think there is anyone who would be better than Klindt on his average the guy is riding with an injury. Are you saying you can't replace an injured rider!Belle Vue replace a fully fit rider nobody says a thing Poole do and you complain the rules are wrong.

That would be almost impossible considering the average reduction to 42 points.
