Clegg is too high an average but he is worse than Lambert anyway in my opinion, Lambert has had a poor start to the season, his average has dropped and can only get better.
He is a much better rider than his current average so is a good signing especially back at his home track.
I said earlier his average will drop in the main body of the team but his confidence must be high with all the points he is getting so may not drop thst much.
Yes it it. Steve is confusing it with the shield match.Wolves are slightly weaker without Freddie Lindgren that is clear but stronger that the shield match as Schlein and Riss have made a big improvement. Clegg was rubbish in the Schield meeting.
Not sure you can say his best years are behind he is still the right side of 30. His average will come down when he moves in to the main body of the team so he could have a viable average in the future.
I agree with you there and we have a good chance of getting a point but just don't think a win is possible. Main problem being Newman out of form, can see Klindt having 7 rides which no doubt will help.
From what i have seen of Simon Lambert a much better rider that Bailey so a good move. Seemed to have started the season slowly but very capable of winning heat2 especially at home.
