  1. it isn't because of Newman you wish failure on us is it.
  2. It has been proved letting Ellis go was the right decision and so is letting Newman go, I very much doubt we have seen the last of Newman in Pirates colours.
  3. I bet your shocked too, used to ride for Panthers didn't he.
  4. Be surprised if Perry scores more than a point
  5. No idea why you would want to get rid of Jack Holder He may well be back to bite Matt Ford but could also be back to ride for Poole.
  6. I agree about their respective ability but it is just that Newman is in such poor form currently so the change is needed now. The problem occurred because we let Kerr go as soon as Newman was available which was a mistake and now he has been snapped up elsewhere, we should have waited for Newman to get back his form first.
  7. I think he will be out the door if he comes back scoring the same as he was pre-injury. So you would keep a clearly out of form rider who is a 6 point rider and scored 2 in his last home meeting. It doesn't mean he won't be back. Good news for us and the Panthers is that Jack Holder reports he is fine following nasty crash with Nick Morris yesterday. Peterborough were well in front at the time so although he didn't appear for re-run I expect that was precautionary.
  8. Oh I feel for him, nice lad and has Poole in his heart but fully understand why, really we should have kept Kerr until Newman was fit enough to do himself justice. That would be my choice, bit of a no brainer the form Newman is in, Newman could be brought in once he recovers his form.
  9. Glad to see Freddie back after his injury, one of my favourite non Poole riders. I hope he has a good evening on a good racetrack.
  10. I am staggered you can't come with anything better than the same old same old. Riders judge for themselves whether they are fit to ride or not.
  11. Monmore is a good racetrack, been many times and enjoyed the racing most times, it certainly is not a hooror track. You can pick out meetings at most tracks where riders don't seem comfortable with conditions. Seen many great meetings at Monmore, i think your blinkered because of your hatred of a Wolves fan.
  12. On top of that you still have James Shanes in the team when previously you said you wanted to get rid of him!
  13. Doesn't sound good about Klindt injury, he may need a bit of time, hopefully back soon. I think Gater1 is going way over the top about Shanes who tries hard and is usually on the pace, got a couple of vital points at Leicester and rode well at Belle Vue with little reward, maybe could have expected a point or two but it has to be remembered he is a 2 point rider so needs to be given a bit of slack.
  14. So overall it is safe to assume it is a speedway meeting between two teams with riders who may or may not perform to the best of their ability and could go either way.
  15. Most riders are a better option than Zengota at the moment! I know he hasn't had many meetings but he has been woeful. Had one decent race at Leicester when he gated other than that rubbish. Kyle says he needs more track time but I can't think it is only that.
  16. It is true Belle Vue have had some surprising results at home but as someone else said Bates is hot and cold, he could score 9 or 2, Batchelor may be a better option than Zengota but Steve is right when he says he isn't as good as he was. 13 in a individual meeting doesn't mean he will get double figures tonight. Newman may have scored paid 9 last night but half of those points were gifted so he is still badly out of form, Shanes could have a good night hopefully and should beat Smith. With so many ifs and buts a very difficult one to call.
  17. Great to see Andersen riding tomorrow, maybe we can get a point now but riders like Newman and Bates will have to ride a lot better than they did last night
  18. Oh thats good, nothing i would like more than see Newman back to form.
  19. Hardly playing catch up we are currently second! Why are women always Right!! Yes I know I thought Gomolski would be a good choice and still maybe but obviously not to replace Brady
  20. I had my doubts about Brady Kurtz after last season but wow has he proved me wrong, he gets better every time i see him, fast becoming the most vital part of this team. This could be a good team challenging for honours just one or two cogs need to start firing, no need to panic just yet. Newman needs time to improve and we need a number one which could still be KK if he came back from injury scoring well.
