  1. I think that his opinion is clouded by his dislike of Stevebrum and nothing would please him more than it being a bad meeting tonight with lots of crashes and everyone blaming the track. Monmore is small but in my opinion the best small track in the country, it often produces good racing mainly I think because although small it is wide compared to some tracks. it regularly hosted the British final and also got voted track of the year many times so it can't be all that bad.
  2. well be interesting to see if Klindt rides and how many points he scores, if he rides on Wednesday and only scores 1 or 2 then we should get rid of him immediately, r/r or a guest would be better.
  3. Of course we are looking forward to seeing Chris Holder, goes without saying and he will get a very warm welcome
  4. According to website KK back, Klindt back so probably r/r for Brady.
  5. Yep so am i, no reason why it shouldnt be as it is a good racetrack that usually produces good racing.
  6. Being as your the only one repeatedly calls it a horror track then i suspect it wont be littered with references to it being a horror track except from you.
  7. He says he is fit to race so i think Matt Ford will give him a couple more meetings
  8. Should be a decent meeting, Rye House have riders that go well at Monmore but dont think they will be able to compete with Wolves top riders. Wolves are favourites for the title and will be too strong on a good racetrack. Is Ellis Perks local to the area as he was standing in front of me last time i was there. I think he is a good improving young rider with a good future ahead of him.
  9. Yes Starke scored paid 14 away from home too, looks like a good decision to get him back. As for Klindt no idea but he has said hes better every day and looking forward to racing again so maybe he may stay.
  10. Yep exactly what I said at the time but maybe now we can replace Klindt with a much better rider than Newman. Disagree I don't think he would be dropped if he wasn't injured or carrying an injury especially as prior to injury he was scoring quite well.
  11. Paul Starke scored 14 tonight at Redcar, maybe the right decision after all
  12. So who would you get for Klindt when he gets the tin tack?
  13. Madsen was a 6.1 average last time he rode here
  14. Have to make the change before monday if we want Madsen
  15. Belle Vue v Poole still not updated on the Aces site, perhaps Fred Flange is right severe lack of interest in meetings until the play offs or just that nobody from Belle Vue can be bothered to keep the paying public informed.
  16. Good job I haven't booked hotel yet!
  17. I imagine a lot of promotors would want to now. I dont see the relevance of Matt Ford wanting to sign him a few years ago.
  18. I know I am biased but I would put Kurtz above Masters but probably doesn't make that much difference.
  19. Has Mark Lemon got a grudge against Brady Kurtz surely having a much better season than Masters.
  20. Surely the only reason you would re-declare under the 42 point limit would be if you wanted a higher average rider like Pawlicki to replace Klindt
  21. I agree saddlebow Road was fantastic 20 years ago and Buster seemed to be a master at track prep, don't know what went wrong, the world cup was great for us but the racing wasn't great.
  22. The racing looks pretty good considering it was at what you call the horror track!
  23. I agree it would appear the top two are decided but not who actually finishes top which is important and they can decide who they play and maybe more importantly that they can be at home for the 2nd leg. we all know your opinion on the play offs but a big part of what I like about the play off system which you didn't get in the past was the all out racing that the play offs provide. I believe in more recent years the passion for the play offs has dwindled and you do not get quite as big crowds these days in the play offs but they are still the best attended meetings. Obviously they do have a detrimental affect on normal league meetings especially for those teams near the bottom but personally I believe the best racing is provided by the play offs and long may they continue.
