  1. I am glad the situation is resolved and Cook will be unbeatable at the showground but why they had to settle it all in public is beyond me. Why they couldnt have discussed in private before any announcement was made i dont know. Peterborough seemed initially to want to announce it quickly to force the hand of the bspa.
  2. No true! Looks like Starke did pretty well too, really liked him last year always gives plenty of effort.
  3. You can't judge a rider's overall ability on Lakeside's track!! Newman would have scored more tonight but i agree Worrall is overall the better rider. Why Hans and Holder were so bad at the start of the meeting i don't know but it sounded a bit gate and go tonight so glad i didn't bother going.
  4. It certainly isn't a friend who decides to publicise a chat just to discredit Rathbones argument
  5. Think you mean Ellis rides monday, went to one of the leicester ones last season and hoping to go monday , just hoping for less delays for the sun and long interval. Starke also rode well there last year but leicesters reserves were weaker last year
  6. That was last season, he will be better now. Magic was terrific there last season but they don't have Doyle. Steve Worrall is a good guest and should score the same as Newman and although Starke rode well there Ellis is a better rider if fit. Hans is going well so expect a big score from him and Bjarne rode there so an away win definately on the cards.
  7. But that is not the reason the change has been rejected and i fully expect Cook to ride in a PL team this season just not Peterborough
  8. He does if the riders don't act like a bunch of girls and don't want to ride a slightly wet track.
  9. Terrific replacement, excellent news although Kyle also goes very well at Leicester Worrall should score well. Hoping Adam is back too and not suffering too much with his injury.
  10. No i agree with that but his EL aqverage suggests at the moment Ellis is riding better . Lakeside looked very bumpy on the telly and that track is usually not bumpy.
  11. They both have EL averages obtained by riding at reserve and Ellis is 8, Auty is under 6.
  12. Ellis would have scored more than Zero!! Ok when we go to Leicester let's hope Ellis and Auty ride so we will see who is better. Ellis is improving, Auty is over rated.
  13. On tonights performance Auty isnt good enough for EL. You moan for me making a point out of a part of your post! I suppose you never do that! By the way we were also well short of your estimate of 11-13 points from Auty and Wright although in fairness certainly not Wrights fault. As for Auty being a PL number one he must be the worst number one in the league and i would back Ellis to beat him anywhere
  14. Good job Auty isn't in the same bracket as Ellis!!
  15. Surely no one believes your predictions anymore if we had Woffy you would still say we get beaten heavily
  16. Personally i have every sympathy with Buster who obviously put in a lot of effort in to trying to get the meeting on and i have seen meetings at Kings Lynn run in worse conditions, although wet i felt the fact that nobody even went out on the track is poor. Buster has been in charge of Kings Lynn for a very long time and if he says it had a chance of being raceable after a couple of races then i believe him. What rider wants to race in the cold and wet, it's a no brainer for them but for a promoter that has spent endless hours working on the track i fully appreciate his disappointment.
  17. And i would back Nicholls to beat Schlein any day so that's an improvement.
  18. Absolutely the correct decision to let Watt go, he has been in decline the last couple of years and although he had a reasonable season last year you can't keep someone who is scoring so poorly. Bjarne may not be the rider he was either but he was let down by Lakeside and deserves a team place and will be an improvement on Davey.
  19. i think this should be a cracker and hoping to attend a meeting contested by two well put together team and Scott Nicholls is a terrific guest so hopefully a good enjoyable meeting and hoping Bjarne will have his gating boots on. Making the long trip but confident it will be on as sky will be there.
  20. Typical positive remark! Bjarne is a Poole legend and will do a good job.
  21. Stars have a fair swap and we have the Robson, who is way over the hill.
