  1. i think this should be a cracker and hoping to attend a meeting contested by two well put together team and Scott Nicholls is a terrific guest so hopefully a good enjoyable meeting and hoping Bjarne will have his gating boots on. Making the long trip but confident it will be on as sky will be there.
  2. Typical positive remark! Bjarne is a Poole legend and will do a good job.
  3. Stars have a fair swap and we have the Robson, who is way over the hill.
  4. Probably a better one than when Poole were there!
  5. With the way he has started he could be a reserve soon!
  6. Roynon is not better than Ellis, i would say Ellis is a fair bit better now.
  7. Garrity is nowhere near as good as Janniro was.
  8. Which is why we needed Nicholls back because he will give his all, Cook was impressive last season and hope he continues his good form, shame we havent another Mark Loram on the horizon!
  9. Garrity shouldnt be in the squad either he isnt good enough. A case could be made for Ellis the way he has started the sesson. Nicholls has come back which is a plus but just highlights we have very few riders who are good enough or potentially good enough
  10. Poole should win this, Swindon have too many wesk links. Tungate will not last much longer, i dont know why anyone thought he would be good enough, he is a ok PL rider but thats all. Morris will be better at his home track so it could be close.
  11. Yes i accept you know more about Mark Loram than me and i accept that Rickardsson was paid more and wow was he worth it but it was sad at the time that Norrie Allen ruined the deal by his own greed. Always loved Mark riding for Poole so exciting to watch never seemed quite the same rider after that but always be welcome at Poole. Great rider and a lovely bloke.
  12. Rickardsson was only signed because Loram wanted a kings ransom to sign. It was said at the time Rickardsson was cheaper than Loram
  13. However bad it is at Kings Lynn Coventry is worse!
  14. Holder doesn't always have the best of meetings at Poole either!
  15. The P.A system is awful worst in the league, from where i was on the first bend could hardly hear anything that was said.
  16. I agree room for improvement, Newman will have better nights although quite impressed with Ellis, Watty had a good win but improvement needed, Hans wasn't so good early on but was better towards the end although not sure he is the rider he once was. Bucko is the rider who will make the difference and showed that with a couple of good battles with Harris. So all in all maybe not all conquering but it was cold, damp and i am sure they will all perform when needed and it is early days.
  17. i have never parked in the car park at Kings Lynn, usually park in the industrial estate but would agree Peterborough parking is better.
  18. Despite his score i thought Newman was a bit below his usual standard, as was Garrity despite his heat 1 2nd place, KK seemed back to his best which is good to see. King was having machinery problems and in one race his clutch smelt cooked after the race.Bates surprised me although i thought his race 2 celebrations were a bit ott and he does look a bit hot headed I think in general Poole showed up the frailties of the Coventry team as we beat them without riding at our best and without our number one. I was impressed with Brady though who showed that my misgivings about him may be unfounded.
  19. My thoughts are that KK was terrific, looked unbeatable until heat 15,Garrity and Newman were as poor as each other. Bates was good to start with but faded, Sargeant started badly but got better, Woryna tried hard but not good enough, Bomber good value as usual and King was hopeless. Watt ok in patches, Hans had a bad night until heat 15, Bucko was good and had a good battle with Harris and Ellis did pretty well as did Kurtz. Track seemed bumpy in places. Overall not a terrible meeting.
  20. Totally agree, if KK rides like he did last year he will probably be accused of average manipulation, the best riders sometimes have bad seasons.
